"excellent evening, we sat in the air mens bar, which checked the menu and the wine list about an excellent gin and tonic as we were early. a 3-course menu was presented as the festive season. basic choices of meat, fish and vegetarian, but not an extensive menu, in contrast to the wine list that has a very good choice. eating was tastefully presented with appropriate portion size, some can say small, but it did not let them blossom. we were served hot nuts and warm brot with 3 types of spread, also the blue cheese was declared delicious and we are not fans of blue cheese. we had tomato gazpacho with sun-dried tomatoes and the darkened healed. cod as net and also venison, both cooked to perfection. soufflé on the desert menu and it is always our choice. also cooked for perfection. with rose from proven e and a pint noir from the Loire Valley, our choice. restaurant is very beautiful, tables are not close, piano game from the gallery, attentive service, but not over camp. restaurant was very busy, but they never felt rushed. tee and coffee afterwards with some beautiful petit four and a nightcap. a really nice evening. highly recommended"

"The rude waiter gave away half of our bottle our wine and charged us for it. Tried to make us leave after an hour and a half and said we drank all our wine. When questioned he began to argue with us and said he could charge us for the wine we hadn't drunk???? Got a glass of wine after speaking to the manager but it was not managed well at all. Would not recommend at all"

"Busy restaurant and a disappointing start ending up at the worst table in the restaurant beside the hatch where all the dirty dishes are dumped. If booking I would suggest adding a note not to get this table for dinner. 2 steak meals were warm at best and despite being sent back only the plate came back with more heat. One other meal was good and enjoyable. Great server who was helpful and tried to negotiate an adjustment to the bill at the end of the meal which started off with an odd suggestion for a reduction to the overall cost but we got there in the end. No discussion with management, who didn't seem to want to deal with any difficult conversation, but the bill outcome and complimentary round of drinks helped with a disappointing visit. Staff serving tables were great and to be commended for taking on responsibility that would I would have suggested should have been handled by the duty manager."

"At our table, we noticed that the adjacent table received STK's signature bread right away, while we hadn’t even been offered any. After ordering drinks, we waited about 10 minutes before our waiter came over to ask how everything was. My husband mentioned that we were still waiting for our drinks, which arrived shortly after he asked. We ordered our meals, and my husband chose the calamari starter, which was impressively large. We both opted for steaks. As we were enjoying our conversation, another couple seated nearby received their bread and dip almost immediately. This made me wonder if we had been forgotten, so I asked a staff member if we had missed out on something.... we were indeed overlooked, but thankfully the bread came shortly after. Once our food was finally ready, it was delivered by a different waiter (a runner) to a table next to us and just left there instead of being brought to us. After a while, we managed to get another waiter’s attention to bring our food over. When our meals did arrive, they were quite nice. The asparagus was good, and the truffle fries were delightful—hard to go wrong with deep-fried fries, really. After finishing our meals, we had empty plates in front of us for about 20 minutes. I wanted to order a warm cookie, but at that point, I had lost interest in what was meant to be a special meal, and we just wanted to return to our suite. When we finally asked for the bill, it seemed they were aware we weren't completely satisfied. The bill was £140 after a discount (I had opted out of the optional service fee of £17.50), but we were actually charged £152. I didn't bother to argue about it. For a restaurant that prides itself on its service, we expected much better."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem in a remote location. The decor and atmosphere are charming, and the menu is enticing. The only downside was that one of us ordered the chicken dish, which was small and not very satisfying despite being one of the most expensive items on the menu. On a positive note, the bread and butter pudding was absolutely delicious!"

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. "The restaurant is situated right in the heart of Leicester Square, which is definitely one of the prime locations in this part of London. You can easily reach Canary Wharf and the city, all the way to Big Ben and beyond. We had a reservation for 3 people, but unfortunately, they couldn't locate our booking. Fortunately, they were able to seat us on a spacious balcony. We had received confirmation from OpenTable and showed it upon our arrival, but they still couldn't find our reservation."

"The wait to place our order was quite long, and it took even longer for our food to arrive. We ordered a shared starter, which came along with the two main courses. "The reservation was not recorded in the booking diary, and our requests were not fulfilled. The sea bass was overcooked and watery. An incorrect second main dish was served, and we were charged for it. The correct main dish, chicken, was extremely dry, and a cold sauce was provided in a futile attempt to salvage it. The drinks were just mediocre. A service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill, requiring us to manually calculate the total cost. The servers were okay, but they didn't take our order accurately and seemed confused when I asked for a celebratory candle or shot to be brought out. While the atmosphere was nice, the food and service did not live up to expectations."

"A group of ten of us went here last night for our work evening out. First impressions were good the place looked really nice, and it was packed (not so good if you are into any kind of social distancing). However, once we were seated for dinner next to the main bar area, it became apparent from the incredibly loud dance music that this was not going to be an evening of easy conversation. I like to think that a basic requirement of going to dinner is that I can enjoy some conversation but that was far too much to hope for. It was like being in the middle of a nightclub or bar where to have to really shout and strain to hear someone. Things got so bad that the waitress simply could not hear me to take my order. When my colleague 's order came it was completely wrong which was no surprise. We asked for their music to be turned down several times but that was just not possible by the looks of things because of the huge bar area next to us that they cared about more. Overall, the food was good, but the evening was totally ruined by the stupidly loud nightclub music. I do not exaggerate when I say that several of us left with sore throats and lost voices. If the management is reading this then I don 't want a stock robotic reply underneath we are very sorry to hear that....... kind of response because we made it clear that the music was stupidly loud several times. The next time I want to sit and eat in the middle of a nightclub then I 'll just go to Pret for a sandwich and just take it into the middle of the dancefloor of my local. It 'll be a lot cheaper for sure."

"I had a wonderful evening at Carluccio's—my first time dining there. I initially booked a table for 12 three days before my 50th birthday, but after being surprised with a party, I adjusted it down to 6 and then 3. Despite the changes, the meal was delightful; I ordered the chicken with white wine sauce and requested a small amount just in case I didn’t like it, but it turned out to be delicious. There were no complaints about my last-minute changes to the reservation; the staff, especially the manager, were incredibly nice and friendly. I will definitely return soon and highly recommend this restaurant!"

"from both of us I found eating at elenas to be totally acceptable, but the price-performance ratio is a bit ho-hum. the photos of the stars that decorate the walls gives him a certain charm, but the bright lighting makes nothing for the shaded color job that lurking behind the mugs, and I felt, giving the place a caffe feeling. Some candles and somewhat lower lighting could go the inner further. "Firstly .. the whole restaurant needs a complete overhaul .. shoddy and shabby dated decor .. the light fittings were thick with dust and grease .. sat facing mirrors .. my view dirty walls and skirting boards, dried out imitation plants and dirty velour chairs at the table facing me .. the music was loud and inappropriate for a restaurant Bare tables, no condiments. My £8 glass of wine was served in the most basic of cheap wine glasses .. water served in a glass with a straw stuck in it .. no jug for the table .. dirty shabby menus .. ordered crispy beef. .. served luke warm and not crispy.. asked the obvious crispy beef ?? to be told it’s crispy beef but not crispy as it’s their signature dish which is crispy beef but not crispy .. makes no sense .. ordered mushroom bruschetta to have a scorched wedge of ciabatta and a few mushrooms .. red pepper in the mix of the concoction with very little sauce .. the young boy who served us was very apologetic and did his best in the circumstances. To be sat in this restaurant was not only a depressing environment and experience the food is completely overpriced from what appears to be cooked by a cook .. not a chef .. for this restaurant to be trading there must be very little competition in the area for them to get away with serving what they serve in canteen surrounding .."

"It seems we chose a quiet night to dine there, being midweek, but the restaurant still had a nice atmosphere.
