"As a visitor to London for the marathon, I randomly booked a table at STK, and I was not disappointed. During my visit with five friends, I had already eyed the tomahawk steak on the menu. Although it was significantly more than I would usually spend on a steak, it was worth every penny—cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth. The restaurant has an excellent atmosphere, and our entire party was very impressed with our choice of venue. Everyone enjoyed their food and cocktails immensely. Thank you for a wonderful evening!"

"Firstly .. the whole restaurant needs a complete overhaul .. shoddy and shabby dated decor .. the light fittings were thick with dust and grease .. sat facing mirrors .. my view dirty walls and skirting boards, dried out imitation plants and dirty velour chairs at the table facing me .. the music was loud and inappropriate for a restaurant Bare tables, no condiments. My £8 glass of wine was served in the most basic of cheap wine glasses .. water served in a glass with a straw stuck in it .. no jug for the table .. dirty shabby menus .. ordered crispy beef. .. served luke warm and not crispy.. asked the obvious crispy beef ?? to be told it’s crispy beef but not crispy as it’s their signature dish which is crispy beef but not crispy .. makes no sense .. ordered mushroom bruschetta to have a scorched wedge of ciabatta and a few mushrooms .. red pepper in the mix of the concoction with very little sauce .. the young boy who served us was very apologetic and did his best in the circumstances. To be sat in this restaurant was not only a depressing environment and experience the food is completely overpriced from what appears to be cooked by a cook .. not a chef .. for this restaurant to be trading there must be very little competition in the area for them to get away with serving what they serve in canteen surrounding .."

"Okay, so this is my first review. Being a student,one always tries to find places that offer good food with reasonable prices. Dosa village is one of them. Their food is delicious, with a special mention to the Gobhi Manchurian and Paneer Devil in the snacks category. Other things I tried here included, Mysore Masala Dosa, Tomato Uthhappam all of which were tasty. The service might be a little slow because they don't have much staff but the food makes up for it. And do try either the Filter coffee or Masala Chai after your meal! :"

"Food fine, wine fine, service fine. But if, like me, you’re a solo diner in search of a pre-show meal close to the Barbican, it’s worth knowing that, at on a weeknight, this is a loud-thumpy-music post-work-drinks bar and you will be plonked in the middle of all that, surrounded by people who obliviously leave their bags and empty glasses on your table while shouting their conversations over your shoulder. Things seemed to be quietening down (crowd-wise if not music-wise) by when I was leaving, and if want you want is a shouty night out then it’s probably great. But approach with caution."

"Newly opened we were warmly welcomed and shown to an excellent table in the window area. First impression was the tables are well spaced so private discussion is easily achieved. The menu concentrates on fish although meat dishes are available. There were 5 of us dining and we were treated to some superb cooking with not a single complaint from my normally critical colleagues who ordered a variety of dishes. All the fish, whether Bream, Sea Bass or Giant Prawns were cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was muted as, having just opened to the public, it is not widely known yet. This will change as the standard of cooking and service were outstanding and I would unhesitatingly recommend it."

"My first time ever in this restaurant, the staff were very friend and paid attention to all our needs. We had food off the set menu and weren’t expecting big portions, the size of the portions was amazing and the food was of exceptional quality. We had a bottle of wine which was average price you pay when dining out, the bill was not overly expensive. It will not be my last visit would highly recommend to family and friends."

"Caluccios was fantastic!!! The staff were amazing and the food was brilliant!! I chose it because of the gluten free menu which was sooooo good!!! It was my Mums Birthday and they put cakes on a plate with candles for me. Basically couldn't do enough for us!! However I would never book through the fork again....it doesnt register as a booking with Carluccios system....thankfully I doubled checked beforehand!!! So I would recommend booking direct"

"I have eaten at Quantro several times now and found the food to be very good. It's imaginative and the menu changes frequently. The early bird menu is particularly good value, however the A la Carte isn't that much more expensive. The first few visits we had a problem with a surly waitress. We put it down to many things, inexperienced, lack of confidence, etc. and carried on visiting regardless. We were served by the same waitress on our recent visit and were very pleasantly surprised. She welcomed us warmly, was all smiles and couldn't do enough for us. 10 out of 10!"

"I find it amusing that they sent an email asking for a review of a restaurant that is closed. They couldn’t even process our reservation, nor did they notify us beforehand. In fact, they even sent a reminder the day before our planned visit. I wouldn’t be so bothered if it weren’t for the fact that I specifically booked this restaurant through OpenTable on the Pasha website to celebrate a birthday. Thankfully, we were able to find another restaurant to eat at, but this experience has left me feeling hesitant about using OpenTable again. I will likely avoid this service in the future whenever I can."

"We ate here previously in 2018 and thought the meal was excellent. We therefore had high expectations this time around. The food is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. For food, I ordered from the specials, beef Tartare (my favourite), and my partner the burrata salad. The tartare had far too much mustard, which the waiter had replaced for me as it was inedible. Although the replacement had less mustard, it wasn’t the most attractive looking beef, you would expect better for £29. The burrata salad was excellent. We both had steaks for main, and these were really nice, although the bernaise sauce was lacking in taste. Anyone reading this may brush my comments off as It sounds like I’m a whiner, and focused on the cost, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I love to eat out at Michelin starred restaurants and I don’t mind paying top prices; I don’t like paying top prices and getting average food."

"I was on Saturday 16th april. we were served by gosha who seemed not to enjoy her job at all with a posture. my friend ordered the only beer that was in the offer, and he didn't like it. instead of knowing and asking if he wanted. Something else wanted no! gave a look and went away. we had to ask for the prosecutor. I spoke to the man and she gave the 2 youngs 2 pints of something else. very appreciated. When it came to the bill, I said I didn't want to pay the service fee since I felt that gosha had posture and her answer was that I had the posture. I'm sorry, but I've eaten here a few times and visited the disco brunch with a group of girls before and without problems. will not come back, so treated"

"I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. I chose it based on the excellent reviews, and I must say they were well deserved. The team, especially Roberta, was wonderful. The menu was extensive and the food was great - even the most discerning customers will be pleased. The service was brilliant and the overall atmosphere was top-notch. I had dinner and the price per person was between £40-50. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a 5-star dining experience."

"on 07.10.2017 we went as a family. we were immediately set by very friendly staff. the place was very busy, but our drink order was immediately removed after we had received our drinks, our food order was accepted. they didn't have to wait long, even though they were really busy. when the food came, it was hot and looked nicely presented, it was beautiful has nothing bad to say. I would not hesitate to recommend to any of my friends or family."

"This was one of the more bizarre visits I have had to a restaurant in many years. Spectacularly diabolical!!! The waiter was nice enough but they were out of half of the already tiny list of dishes on offer. It was like “spam, spam or parmigian”! My mate got some gnocchi straight from the supermarket with some cheese only food stamps would buy (the waiter was nice enough to refund this inedible effort). My order of vitello alla Milanese with patate arroste was a big flat lump of breaded meat from a packet complete with... oven chips!! The whole time we had to listen to some bizarre argument in Spanish and Italian between the cook and the waiter. The subject seemed to be how much the former was being paid- he’s been very fortunate to have ever been paid, from what I can see!!"

"The papardelle was a bit too al dente for my wife, who is obsessed with well cooked pasta. So we swapped meals. I gave her my pasta dish. It was the special, crab linguine I think. She was happy with that. She was an au pair in Turin many years ago and insists that she never came across al dente (under cooked in her parlance! pasta there. This is not a complaint! This is a matter of personal taste. Is there a difference between North and Southern Italy when it comes to a consensus on how to cook pasta?"
