"great service! memories of korea and japan come in the senses when they come here, especially with the service button. I wish that all restaurants include this for a faster and efficient service. the quality of wagyu bark is amazing. melt in your mouth. grilling for Japanese bbq is clean and easy against Korean bbq restaurants in the environment. they could use more options for alcohol-free cocktails (mocktails) and maybe use better chiopsticks (the wooden takeaway quality is cheap as it can leave splinters in the fingers). more choices of takoyaki would also be amazing than just the original otopus."

"lso unique with options that I haven't seen at other Japanese restaurants. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes, which enhanced my dining experience. "I had the tom yum soup, which was fantastic—just what I needed on a cold and dreary day. The highlight for me was the deep-fried wontons; I can't believe how delicious they were—crispy, flavorful, and simply amazing! "Although the food was really nice, I was really disappointed in realising that I had tipped TWICE, and felt like I was tricked into it. After being presented with the bill I had no time to check it as the waiter was stood there with the card machine and asked if I had wanted to leave a tip. I did, and proceeded to leave a tip via the card machine. After the waiter left I then saw that the bill ALREADY had a 10% service charge added to it. So if the bill already has an optional service charge on it, why am I being asked again if I want to leave a tip??! Not only that, but when checking the bill I had also seen that we were charged for three salmon makis when we had only ordered two (this did get corrected as I told them and we were refunded the third portion, but I didn’t feel like I could ask for a refund on my double tip). So although the food was nice, this end paying experience really ruined it and I’d urge everyone to check their bill before they pay."

"write this review in the name of the personal in maki and ramen to guide it to our favee vegan options. the vegan tantan and hell wheels are our favorite volcanic wheels. if they love sesame, they will certainly try the tantan. Do not forget to ask for tofu when they love tofu, as the vegan rarmen on the menu is only with sweet. on our special board we have at the moment vegan pumpkin avocado rolls. that is for the. have this for my dinner almost every day, love. also our vegetarian sushi roll is vegan! if you want to try the vegetarian set, we can replace the tamago for inari also we make our tamago before place for our covegias."

"This restaurant is a great place to visit. I would highly recommend it. I went there on Friday, March 18th, 2022 for lunch and received excellent table service. The drinks were delicious, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The rolls were so delicious that I ended up ordering more. Everyone in my group was very satisfied. The restrooms were clean and the dining areas were hygienic. The table accessories at Bone Daddie's were very useful. I definitely plan on returning sometime in the future."

"I lived in japan for many years and I think I know my riddles. After I grew up in san francisco, I know my total and in the rule when I go to an Asian restaurant and there are only gaijin there working and eating there, I run for the exits. I can't say that the actual broth at tonkotsu was bad. but I felt that the noodles were hard and undercooked, and there was not enough of them (and I was disappointed, there was no reusable option this day and age of gluten consciousness.) my point is, there was not enough of anything in my bowl: even after adding an egg I came ruvenous. just not eating enough. I have probably eaten 1,000 bowls of rammen in my day and rammen should come in a big generous bowl. that was like an LA menu interpretation. who has hunger at all should avoid this place or just order a few bowls of ram (although this is not the point of having ramen.) also the way they calculate it here is outputting. apparently, tonkotsu does not make enough money, so under the cover of social distancing they need to put their CC number in their system and order online. no personal has to talk to you. the personal has no idea what they have ordered, and it doesn't matter. there are no greetings irasshaimase screaming from the workers like in shoryu (and in japan); this 100% European team could not pronounce it! the employees do not even know what is on the menu and continue to point to the online order scan thing when they ask something. I'm sorry, tonkotsu, I'm not back. worth for money and total experience were missing both."

"we stumbled on a rainy Sunday afternoon over the bones of daddies and I will be back to any case. in a newly renovated corner has bone daddies a new take on a traditional Japanese restaraunt. the service was timely and consistent, but the most important factor that the ramen delivered was exactly what we hoped. perfectly boiled eggs, fresh pasta and the possibility of pork or chicken bones with a lot of drinks to accompany their trembling of choice. the only limiting factor is the price that has put us back a bit, which forces us to return only once in a past and warn us to order side. one of the best options for a meal in shoreditch!"

"Haven’t been here in over a year until today but wasn’t impressed this time around. Whilst service is polite and they do attend to you, the place does feel even less authentic now than before. Japanese language gets you nowhere which detracts from the overall experience. This is more of an asian fusion place tbh. Secondly (and perhaps most importantly) the food was extremely oily today which is really unhealthy (not that Tonkotsu Ramen is a health dish). But today the soup was literally swimming in a sea of oil (see pic below). Please take with this as this the absolute basic of any so-called “Japanese”."

"Other people were receiving there food before us even though we ordered before them. I don’t think our order was given to the kitchen. Had to remind them about our order, once it finally came out the order was wrong my girlfriend received a beef boa bun she had one bit and realised it was meat (she’s a vegetarian). We told the staff it was wrong so they came back again with the wrong order. She received the prawn boa bun when she ordered the vegan tofu one. The manager asked who took our order (it was him) so he clearly didn’t remember or just didn’t put our order though. Finally received the correct food with no apology. So wasn’t great experience tbh..most likely won’t go again"

"Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at Myra's. This was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant in 35 years and it led me to ask why we had left it so long. We decided to have the tasting menu and were delighted. The food is delicious- Myra delivers fantastic flavours dish after dish, and this is backed up by wonderful service from her son and husband. It feels like a true family event and you can see the care reflected in everything they do. Myra's is at the upper price bracket so don't expect a budget night out- but it is worth every penny."
