A savory blend of tomatoes, chilies, and spices topped with crispy tortilla strips and fresh avocado.

"Been twice now since they introduced their separate vegan menu and both times were so tasty! Tried the Mac and cheese and the BBQ pulled jackfruit fajitas! They have a sorbet as dessert currently but the staff said they are working on introducing other dessert options! Also really like that the vegan menu is a veganised version of their main menu they've put so much effort in"

"Do not be fooled by the initial impression as a buoyant hotspot of authentic Mexican cuisine in a vivacious corner of Notting Hill Santo is an affront to decency. To look back on the experience in a positive light would be, at best, futile, and it is clear that I am not alone in holding this view. Such a flagrant disregard for culinary aptitude is seldom encountered, and they likewise miss the value for money criterion by a rather impressive margin. Our meal was capped off by an awkward exchange with an arrogant degenerate, posing as a waitress, upon our rational refusal to pay the laughable discretionary service charge, and is one that we, as long as we are able to reason, will never seek to repeat."

"I recently tried Mezcal for the first time and I will definitely be going back. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and had a great sense of humor that fit well with the casual atmosphere. I tried several items from the menu and everything was excellent, fresh, and delicious. The prices for both the food and drinks were reasonable."

"I was having a nice evening until I was faced with a surprise compulsory service charge of £12.50. I am not here to pay your staff wages, this is not America. I would’ve tipped £15 but the fact that is compulsory has put me off coming back to this restaurant ever again.. the absolute cheek of it. Some restaurants are trying to get you to pay for this staff wages as they do in America do not accept this in this country. The service charge by law has to be advertised clearly before your meal. Or you can refuse to pay it. We just paid it and left. It’s a pity because we had a good meal and the staff were friendly. I was so angry at being forced to make a payment. Tips Should be voluntary and depend on the level of service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"Very few 100% vegan companies in NI. This is a small cafe on Ormeau street. At the time of the visit, only takeaway and outdoor eating was permitted by law. The opening hours have been reduced. The menu will be published on the Facebook page on Thursday evening. We pre-ordered our lunch and some vegan groceries. I had eggplant stew. It was warm and delicious. It was a bit light but usually comes with garnet bread. My husband had the chickpea sandwich and soup. I taught him a sandwich and it was amazing. Flavorful and creamy and generously filled. I'll try that next time. You can go up to the hatch and order too. It seemed very popular today. We walked to beautiful Ormeau Park and ate on a bench. I will definitely return. "I have been to the lowther arms many times and the food has always been good, a nice cozy little pub with plenty of choice. We were out celebrating my grandmas birthday and my aunty had just been given the all clear from cancer..We opened the door and instead of being greeted with a friendly hello, the woman snapped have you got your masks!! We didn't have masks as we were under the impression you didnt need them when dining out ..? This has maybe changed she then proceeded to give us some blue toilet roll if we needed to walk about the pub! We asked about the specials and again she snapped there round that corner! We asked if we could sit round by the fire as my grandma was cold and we were told no its just a light on the fire its nicer round here (opposite the toilets) her attitude was that she did NOT want to be working!! I wanted to leave and go somewhere else I was so annoyed with her but we didnt want to cause a scene as we were out to celebrate. At this point I'd had enough of being spoken to like kids and decided we were going to move tables and sit were we wanted to sit. We were handed a pen and asked to complete our details name phone number etc.. my partner tried to make a joke with her about the pen being sterile as she had made such a scene the whole night, this didnt go down well. Safe to say the night was awful, no atmosphere, no music. Felt like 5 naughty children being told off constantly... and the food was totally average. There was a puddle of water on our plates off the cabbage and carrots. The staff in the lowther arms were always helpful and warm this unfortunately wasnt the case last night. I understand these are worrying times for everyone and businesses are struggling but we are all in the same boat. It's safe to say I wont be back Joe would I recommend this once lovley little pub to anyone else."
