"Been to the cafe today for breakfast. Checked the reviews and the website the day before that. Came in next day and were very surprised. The website is an absolute lie. The photos of the interior are totally different there, the prices on the website are 30-35% cheaper as well. Got 2 breakfasts ~9.5£ each). 2eggs/ 2p bacon/ beans/ bread/ mushrooms/ 1/2 a tomato/ 1 sausage in each breakfast. Needed extra sausage and beans for the baby and each extra is 2.25£! Paid extra 5.5£ for that. The quality of food is very average, like any other pub for ex Joiners Arms went the day before for breakfast as well) where a full English was £4.75, the portion is the same except 2sausages) and twice cheaper! Paid £30 for 2 breakfasts, 1 coffee, 1 juice and a sausage and beans for the baby. Pub will be 15£ for all the same food. Not worth the money."

"Stopped at Helen's Teashop in Burton upon Trent for a cup of coffee and a snack when passing through the area. It is a traditional' cafe that seems to appeal in the main to a more mature senior clientele. Plenty of things to choose...from but I went for a regular latte coffee and an Eccles Cake, taken at one of their Market Square outside tables. The Eccles Cake had a very nice base, almost like toffee and it went down very well with my coffee. The Eccles Cake was also good value. In general Helen's Cafe was pleasant enough but I just felt it was a little too dated to entice me back regularly. Highly recommend the Eccles Cakes though!"

"On the afternoon of Tuesday 26th August 2025, a family member I decided to visit the famous Chester Market Food-Hall. After walking two circuits due to all outstanding premises on offer we ultimately decided upon the MRKT Café. The service was outstanding yet more importantly visual representations of the menu were presented this is something more eateries should do in just a photo of what each dish looks like on a plate can gain custom. Chester Market Food-Hall works as follows: You go to a premises, pay for your dish potentially beverage then you are given a old-school pager. More than enough seats are available then once the old-school pager is operational via a buzz or ring tone you go to the premises to collect your food. I would strongly advise if you or anyone accompanying you has mobility issues then be seated as near to the selected premises as possible that way you can politely request if the member of staff can assist you in talking the food to your nearby table. My family member I decided on the same dish which whilst I have forgotten the name yet was meat heaven bliss wonderful. Also, at the Chester Market Food-Hall is a bar selling alcoholic beverages therefore I got two pints of the in-house beer which was outstanding going perfectly with the choice of food. "I recently visited a fantastic local coffee shop that has been recently renovated and looks very stylish! The dining area has a modern and contemporary feel, with clearly displayed vegan options and freshly made sandwiches and paninis available. I decided to try the Christmas white flour bap with vegan sausages, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and it was delicious and filling. The sausages in the bap were of good quality and they were generous with their portions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that vegan butter was used and taking precautions to prevent cross-contamination by adding extra foil on the counter. I was very impressed by their attention to detail and can't wait to return!"
