"My elderly mother recently dined at this restaurant. She had inquired about the availability of the toilets before placing her order and was informed that they were indeed open. However, during her meal, a child with type 1 diabetes tried to use the facilities but was denied access. When my mother finished her meal and attempted to use the restroom, she was bluntly told by a male staff member that it was closed. Despite her insistence that she had been told otherwise, the staff member showed no understanding or empathy. She was left feeling embarrassed and had to go elsewhere to find a toilet. It is important to consider the needs of individuals with incontinence, diabetes, or bladder issues, as well as those who may have a stoma bag that needs attending to. To deny someone the use of a restroom, especially a paying customer, while the establishment is still open is simply unacceptable."
