"We booked without checking the menu, and didn't realise their main course is build around rotisserie chicken. I don't eat meat, so we opted for some starters and salads with sides a burrata salad with a side of new potatoes for me, and a cesar salad with extra shredded chicken and a side of truffle mac n cheese for hubby. Food was delicious and well presented. Cocotte spritz is nice and refreshing, and they can make a **** mary which isn't on the menu but is very good. It got a bit noisy so if you would like a more private dinner ask for a quiet table, there are a few standalone ones."

"Went there because Condi Nast listed it in its top 50 restaurants in London. It's located near St Pancras Station and so was conveniently located for me. The food was good but nothing special: the crab salad consisted of a quenelle of minced crab, with a piece of toast and some dill cucumbers. I had the poached trout for the main course with French fries. The fish was bland though cooked well. I then waited for a waiter to show me the dessert menu. No-one offered and the restaurant was not full. I had to ask a waiter for some tea and again had to ask another waiter who walked by for the bill. The price was reasonable but I would not rush there again."

"has a short vegan menu or they can have their own bowl salate. at the moment it seems to serve 9 meal times for the delivery for each 1 meal in (for understandable reasons), which means when they sit in it a little frenetic, but it is more of a place than a restaurant. good value, I thought. updated by previous review on 2020-09-11"

"We ended up leaving because no one approached us at the reception desk. One waiter saw us from the kitchen but chose to ignore us and walked away to attend to something else. The chefs noticed us wandering around the restaurant in search of staff, yet they didn't say a word. It's disappointing because we were looking forward to enjoying the place since we live right next door and have a 'mates rates' card from the hotel."

"I booked a table here as my sister wanted to come here for her belated birthday, my sister said the place is small so perhaps booking a table would be best, thank goodness I did, it is very small I sat down and waited for my sister, my mum and my other sister, the member of staff came over promptly to take a drinks order whilst I wait. My sister, my other sister and my mum arrived, it went down hill from there! We ordered 3 teas and water, only the water and 2 teas turned up, no sign of the other, my sister went up and asked where the other tea was, then nobody came back to take our order so again my sister went up to the counter to put our order in. We waited half an hour for the food, everyone else who came in got there order, my sister again asked how long our food is, I think they forgotten, my other sister and my mum got there order but myself who ordered cake and my sister who's birthday it was didn't receive her food, I wasn't bothered, again my other sister asked where her food was, they completely forgotten hers, 45 minutes later it arrived and she had to quickly eat it and go as she had to go. The staff were non apologetic and rude. Such a shame because the cakes are nice. I don't think I'll come again, I expect better and that wasn't what we wanted"

"update: this is closed and opened again. the same name, but seems like new owners it sells now meat. not clear how good veggie / vegan options are now. —— I really love this place. healthy salad, many choice, friendly staff, inexpensive. the sweet potato and green lenses are particularly delicious. "We had a wonderful lunch today! The vegan bowl was incredibly tasty, with a variety of flavors and textures that made us consider ordering another one. Even though the restaurant is not strictly vegan, we recommend everyone give it a try as the food is diverse and delicious. For dessert, we shared a slice of vegan caramel cake which was also excellent. We live quite far from Cirencester but would happily make the drive for another meal at this lovely restaurant. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, slightly off the main path but clearly popular. We look forward to returning soon!"
