"At the corner of Kings Cross this slightly hidden restaurant offers a haven of peace, quiet and comfort from the hustle and bustle down at street level. Wood panelled with comfortable chairs this is a place to relax. A fairly short but appealing menu and excellent wine list are provided. Service is professional attentive and smart. The crab starter and fish main course were well presented very tasty and reasonably priced. Even the desserts tempted me a delicious and artistically presented crème caramel with added fruits. A lunch of this quality including aperitifs and a bottle of Pinot Noir for £100 per head in this area seemed excellent value. We will go again!"

If I could give them more stars, I would! Delicious food and the staff were incredible. They went out of their way to make our meal special Will 1000% be coming back soon!

The staff were delightful and so friendly and engaging. The food was just ok. Both our main course meats were very chewy some of which is down to the cut but not totally). The vegetables were great and the crab start was very good.

This was a good place to catch up for a quiet chat over refreshments tea or coffee . It’s more of a restaurant but mid afternoon was quiet . I think they expected us to eat but it’s a really good place for a business coffee near at Pancras and kings cross stations. The decor and ambience was lovely.

Everything was great apart from the fact that our reservation was at 10am….and they closed the kitchen AT 10AM!!! So they wanted us to order as soon as we sat down and we felt very rushed. So weird they allowed us to reserve at that time! The service and food was amazing though, so I’d definitely come back…just not at closing time!

Beautiful venue. Food was OK though the eton mess was amazing. Service was slow and unattentive. Had to keep asking serving staff for things drinks menu, to be able to order, asked twice for coffee, asked for condiments. Very slack on the service front and it wasn't even that busy Drinks menu lacked non alcoholic alternatives e.g seedlip/alcohol free spirits or beers that would be commonly available in a supermarket. Overall it was ok. Nothing special. Good location but there are many other restaurants in Kings Cross I'd go to instead next time I'm in the area

Went there because Condi Nast listed it in its top 50 restaurants in London. It's located near St Pancras Station and so was conveniently located for me. The food was good but nothing special: the crab salad consisted of a quenelle of minced crab, with a piece of toast and some dill cucumbers. I had the poached trout for the main course with French fries. The fish was bland though cooked well. I then waited for a waiter to show me the dessert menu. No-one offered and the restaurant was not full. I had to ask a waiter for some tea and again had to ask another waiter who walked by for the bill. The price was reasonable but I would not rush there again.
