"Had lunch with our friends and had a mixed experience. The good bits were the friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. All the staff were lovely Rosie in particular who was lovely with my friends little girl with lots of banter. The downside was some of the food. Why have spicy chicken in a child’s wrap selection? Her Dad had to wash it in water before she could eat it and why put imitation cream in the filling of a Black Forest gateau? The other meals were fine although it was mentioned that the chicken leek pie was a very small portion also although very nice. It was not all bad though as the skate, lasagne pork belly were fantastic. All in all we had a nice time but could have been better."

"Such a lovely setting but we were shocked by the standard of the food. Stopped for a drink and snack over £15 for nachos, which was a sad plate of Doritos with microwaved cheese and dips reminiscent of a kids birthday party. Terrace looked amazing in the sun but there were piles of plates and glasses on every table, clearly hadn’t been cleared in hours and as a result there were wasps everywhere.
