"We visited Le Mande in edinburgh on 17th January 2012 and were NOT disappointed! What a fabulous venue. Very modern and open, however, secluded little areas where you can get some intimacy. Firstly, the service was great. Attentive and efficient staff who looked after us all evening. Secondly, the food!! My word, what an extensive menu presented beautifully and cooked to perfection! lastly, the cost may be a little over priced in places but you get what you pay for and worth every penny"

"We are a family of 4 and went for dinner during the week. This restaurant is located in the shopping mall One New Change not far from St. Paul’s Cathedral and our Hotel Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s it’s like a 4 mins walk. It was very convenient for us. It was not crowded and the ambience was very pleasant and got attended to immediately. You need to place your order at the register once you know what you want. We got our food very quickly and the staff was really friendly and attentive.We got some platters to share with lots of sides and the food esp. chicken wings, my fave) was amazingly delicious and quite affordable. We loved it and wished we could have gone back one more time but way leads onto way...and we kept trying other restaurants. The restaurant was clean and service was excellent so I would definitely recommend this to everyone especially the people staying the area."

"We visited this restaurant on a trip to Durham for the Lumiere festival. We were very pleased that we had booked, as the restaurant was packed and the staff had to turn people without bookings away while we were there. Despite it being at such a busy time, the service was very prompt, helpful and friendly, the food tasty and well presented and we very much enjoyed our meal. We would recommend it as a place to dine. Being right in the centre of Durham, it is very conveniently located."

"I wanted a nice night out whilst waiting for my kids who were at a party. Despite having booked a table inadvance, i was kept waiting at the table for drinks for over 40 mins! I ordered the salad. When the food eventually arrived it was mostly a plate of rocket leaves and not much else. I had overcooked, overburnt and over fried artichoke and the chicken tasted like artificial over processed meat!. It was all very tasteless. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. The website is misleading. I wish i had now gone to the Pizza Express down the road from it. Zizzi was a total waste of my money and evening!!!!"

"We really like Zizzi's and this restaurant was no exception, love that they have a separate vegan menu, the ragu is delicious, the pizza with their own made coconut cheese is just so tasty and they will do a children's vegan mini pizza off the kids menu, the garlic bread is superb but if your looking for real indulgence then the chocolate hazelnut torte off the vegan menu with honeycomb topping and coconut ice cream is a must have! It's just amazing and goes down really nicely with a nice soya coffee. Excellent!"

"Saturday lunch for two.. They gave us a large table (we asked) promptly. Wine and food came up on time. Ravioli and pasta. They were both very good though... I asked for some olive oil as the pasta was a touch dry then v. good but the plates came up cold. (In England we want hot plates for hot food and cold plates for cold food). How is everything' they asked, we told them and they nicely gave us free coffee.All worked well will go again. Less than all up (if coffee included)."

"I have really hunted a few pasta and the lens-wastu option here seen on this app so that we went to zizzi. we said we were vegan and that was all in order, we used the app to make our order. but the only vegan pasta dish was on the paper menu, but not on the app. we asked the workers who let us know that it was not available today and in the last days. a bit disappointed that this was not mentioned earlier when we set ourselves up, as I would have preferred to try somewhere else, as I really believed a big bowl pasta! but we had our drinks at this point, so we had pizza. unfortunately the worst vegan pizza I had. far too much vegan cheese they would bite down and feel that everything in their mouth squish, as there was only too much of it. I usually like vegan pizza, but that was just not nice. I couldn't eat much of it. a bit disappointed and was still eaten pasta "

"It was my anniversary and I wanted to try somewhere new and somewhere reasonably priced. I must admit I did this for a last minute booking as well so this restaurant saved me. Zizzi is on High Street and delivers a superb range of food at a great price delivered with excellent service from all the polite waiters and waitresses that work there. I think that this should be considered a competitor for all the other Italian restaurants in town including 'Bella Italia '. What I liked about this restaurant was the mood it had, it wasn 't too loud and it was spacious so you could have some time to talk to your partner without feeling that somebody else is listening in on your conversation. I also appreciated the last minute booking they took. I mentioned it was my anniversary and they decorated our table and even gave us a balloon on the back of my chair, which I couldn 't wait to suck the helium out of. As far as the food goes, it tasted absolutely wonderful! It 's definitely a memorable place in terms of the food and service. If you 're thinking of going out for a nice cheap meal then visit Zizzi because it 's a fantastic restaurant that should receive a lot more credit than it gets."

"My husband and I went to Zizzi's in the Highcross in Leicester. We were warmly greeted. then shown to our seats. We were given the main menu, as well as the specials menu,alot of restaurants dont give them willingly! We both chose of the special menu, as it was 2 main meals for £12, which was well worth it.I had the meatball calzone, which was packed full with meatballs,and,mushrooms, it was delicious. My husband had the calzon/pizza which was a combination of both,also delicious. We will return"

"Such a shame. We had a great meal but the service was sooo slow. We had booked a table so were shown to it on arrival but then the wait began. 15 minutes before we got a drink and 40 minutes before we got our starter after reminding them we were still waiting. Didnt bother asking for another drink or a pudding! Not sure who was at fault kitchen or servers. People arriving after us were told there was a 30 minute wait for food so presume it was the kitchen. There didnt appear to be anyone in charge to complain to. The hostess looked about 16 and very bewildered."

"Poor performance on this Sunday. The rusticas continue to have shrunk in size and the classic pizzas were rather limply cooked and whitish even when told to cook them 'well baked ' A starter salad never showed. After reminding the waitress it did eventually show after all of the mains were eaten. Food in Zizzis is potentially and usually excellent but the Leamington branch is still a bit inconsistent."

"After waiting to be seated even though we had booked , as our table was given to someone else. I had to tell the waiter 3 times that we had booked . We ordered our food to be told that they had run out of what we wanted, so had to re choose! The table next to us ordered after us and had eaten their starters. We were only having a main. There mains were then brought out , it was an hour after our first order was taken , so I asked the waiter if ours was going to be much longer , he went to find out. It was going to be a while as they were just starting it . So was told them not to bother! It had taken me 6 years to get my partner to come to Zizis with me, now he won't go back again ! Needless to say I'm very disappointed!"

"Wow, that was something very special. I didn't have the highest expectations, it's a chain, but the pizza was really good. You do not get the rustic sourdough crust as in places that specialize in pizza, but it is good to jump on a thin crust that you can devote so easily. I was pleasantly surprised. The service and the atmosphere are also good. It is in an environment where you would get many people from offices, so the menu, quality and speed of the service are really well aligned."

"I have visited many times to different twosomes always enjoy eating. they have a good varied menu also a fair selection on their vegan menu, along with catering for other nutritional needs only ask for the other menu. Thursday evening I visited the cardinal walk, victoria twog must praise the service. our waitress, andrea was fantastic! He made us feel like we were the only table she had waited for in an extremely lively restaurant. andrea pulled out all stops; she was extremely attentive, polite fun while remaining professional, so much, so much, both my friend and I commented on how fantastic she was! in the rule someone waits her table yes, they can make a good job and they leave a tip, but andrea definitiw won fans. also has to be known that the kitchen staff turned around food orders, so fast it was incredible! we have barely ordered our food to show up in minutes! fantastic!"

"I booked a table at this restaurant for my birthday with my boyfriend. When we arrived, we saw that it was very busy and we were offered a table near the kitchen where the chef was yelling about food pick-up, which was quite disruptive as the place was already loud. We asked to change tables and they did move us, but then forgot to come back and take our order. After waiting for around 15 minutes, we had to flag down one of the waiters to come to our table. It was disappointing, but I didn't want it to ruin my special day. However, I was very impressed with the food - it was amazing. The bruschetta and chorizo spaghetti were flavorful and delicious."

"Disorganised restaurant. Booked on open table 2 weeks prior to event, received open table reminders but they had no trace of my booking which means they only print hard copies of bookings made directly with them and ignore Opentable, if there is a contract between the two Zizzi has broken it making Opentable appear useless and irrelevant and Zizzi management incompetent. The floor service staff were great in managing the situation that arose but they have enough to do and should not have to deal with managerial incompetence."

"Been here a couple of times before but thus time was disappointing. We arrived early, greeted well and a nice table just inside. The calamari was poor more like grown up fish fingers: not like the beautiful and fresh calamari in tempura batter we are used to elsewhere. The lamb kebab wa good though as too the humus and the Mediterranean salad. The atmosphere was non existent and with the Arctic Monkeys coming over the music system, no Lebanese feel at all. Yh overall disappointing."
