"we had traveled from Australia to do the north coast 500 and spent a night in edinburgh. after a long day of traveling and sightseeing we needed an Indian experience and stumbled over ronaq on craigleith rd near where we were. we have tried an Indian in every city we traveled to, and no one is close to this. the best Indian we have experienced in our travels and in our home country. they make one fall and do not look for something better. they will not find it. ask also for benny and get the best service with an end after dinner mint with their bill. brilliant. many thanks. 12/10 review by us."

"We visited the restaurant on Thursday, June 13th and were thoroughly impressed. The small and cozy staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were able to accommodate my vegan partner, who often struggles to find suitable dishes at other restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she had a satisfying meal. The food itself was cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend the tandoori duck starter and the chicken Peshwari Special. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to every taste. While not as refined as somewhere like Gymkhana (which has a Michelin Star), it's a perfect blend of great cooking at reasonable prices in a very comfortable setting. "Great food, friendly service and excellent value. After visiting the theatre on a Friday night we found that this was the only restaurant still open in the area (it was only 10pm). The staff were very friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and was delicious. All the staff seemed very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend."

"Booked a table here for 7pm on a Saturday and appreciate they are probably getting ready for a busy night but the whole experience was incredibly rushed. Soon as we sat down we were asked by a surly waiter how many popadoms we wanted, which were unceremoniously dumped on the table. Immediately asked what we wanted to eat and felt rushed to make a decision. The food came out very quickly (10 minutes tops) and the remaining popadom and condiments removed. We were in and out in 40 minutes. However, the food was nice enough (butter chicken a bit watery) and good value, though we’d usually share a rice but the portion of rice was very small so I’d suggest ordering one for each person. Would probably visit again but maybe not for a special occasion (partners birthday)."

"The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced for the area. The service was decent, with a friendly server, but there was a mix-up with the order - I ordered a beef danshak but received a lamb danshak instead. This was not a problem for me as I enjoy lamb. However, my mother-in-law ordered a medium curry and found it to be too spicy. Some extras were added to the bill, but when questioned, it was explained that it was a mistake due to touch screen issues. Despite some minor issues, the response was good and the staff were trying their best. The restaurant is small and located near the toilets, with the door constantly being left open by customers. However, overall I would still consider coming back and would recommend it to others."

"Over the past 20 months, I have had the pleasure of purchasing new audio equipment from The Sound Organization. The service and advice provided to me by Matt were excellent. I recently visited their location in York to demo the new speakers, the Donator D7.2, and the Rega Planar 8 turntable. After the demo, I decided to purchase both items as well as Atacama furniture. Once everything arrived, Matt offered to come to my house in Kendal in the Lake District to install the audio equipment. This was a fantastic service that I greatly appreciated. Matt provided recommendations on speaker cables and how to set up the turntable. I will definitely be using The Sound Organization for my audio needs in the future. Thank you."

"decided to try this as an alternative to the fabulous but slightly expensive tower tandoori, the meal was reasonable, but nothing spectacular to complain except the nan brot, that was thin and soggy. it’s not a bad little Indian and it’s tooley st I’m sure it’s good to trade, but it wasn’t good enough to pull us back to go “off slopes” here again."

"We arrived promptly for our reservation only to be informed that there was no record of our booking. Despite showing the confirmation on my phone, the restaurant claimed there was no table available for us due to a 'technical glitch'. They did not show any concern for the situation and we ultimately had to leave and find another place to dine. Although we have dined at this restaurant in the past, we are unlikely to return as we were disappointed by their attitude and apparent lack of updating their online booking system. At the time of our booking, there were 8 tables available online, suggesting a discrepancy in their availability information."
