"Good food...when it finally arrived. We've been here twice now as a family of four. Both times there were spare tables so the kitchen wasn't overwhelmed but the service was so so slow! We thought the first time was just a bad night but after a repeat performance we definitely won't be coming back. It took 1.5hrs for the mains to arrive and we had to ask where they were. Every other table had eaten their mains so the kitchen was literally just cooking our meal. When I asked where it was, the young man asked another member of staff but noone bothered to come and apologise or update us as to where our meals were. Such a shame, nice food but won't be going back."

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the specials are outstanding. The service was excellent, very attentive and never made us feel rushed. Also, don't forget to bring your own alcohol.

I went for a birthday dinner yesterday evening with a group of friends. The food and service were excellent. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning. I tried the Haryali chicken and would highly recommend it.

It could have been better. I don't like to speak poorly of local businesses, but the Madras I ordered was not very spicy. In fact, I've had Tikka Masalas that were spicier. Additionally, the sauce was very thin - I couldn't tell if I was eating a curry or drinking a Bloody Mary after a night out. It seems like the Bubba Gump Shrimp Boat must have sunk, as I only got two small prawns in my shrimp purée. Overall, a disappointing experience to say the least.

Been using this restaurant as it’s fairly local and quite good food but very dissatisfied with the last visit which will be the last one for me as I thought the waiter extremely rude, when I complained my chicken madras looked more like chicken soup, he took it back and returned 5/6 minutes later when the rest of my meal was cold, no apology at all and made you feel like your an inconvenience as opposed to a fairly regular customer. I’m now using the new shad in Frindsbury, great food, excellent staff and not as spiteful with the cost, in a way I’m pleased I had this experience as the shad’s food and service so so much better.
