"Decor in the restaurant isnt great looking but more importantly its clean. They are definitely missing a trick with the lack of atmosphere and the place could do with a makeover. All that said the food is absolutely magnificent and at the end of the day that's what your here for and I have to say it twice because its important especially after putting the decoration down THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. The staff are nice and friendly and give you the space you like but are around if you need anything without hounding you. Price is reasonable and did I mention the food is amazing? It seems to be fairly quiet anytime I go and maybe a little investment in the decor might bring in more people and make the place more profitable? But whatever you do keep your chef's they are real assets. I've no problem giving this place the full 5 stars and anyone reading this you should try this place out the food is great, as long as your not planning to propose to the significant other that night."

"Absolutely delicious Indian. Service was fantastic and the food was top quality. We went for the vegetarian tasting menu which had 4 starters and 3 mains. There was a brilliant selection of veggie options. The butter masala paneer was absolutely delicious. Loads leftover for today too! Will definitely be ordering from here again."

"I used to go to this restaurant all the time 15 years ago and convinced many friends to make the trip out here. After ages I thought I would try this place again in August as I was in the area shopping for Asian wedding accessories. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands prior to eating and ordering and I was just disgusted by the smell. It was like a toilet in India that rarely (if ever gets cleaned . I was so disgusted by the smell just in the sink area I didn't even want to think about how clean the actual toilets were or the kitchen. I also don't know if the staff used the same toilets but if they do I have major concerns about the hygiene levels in this place. I walked out before ordering anything (thank God! . I will never return here again."

"Food atmosphere was good, however we can’t say they same for pricing service. We got charged £5:90 for a children’s Apple Juice and £6.50 per pint of Kingfisher. The waiter was extremely pushy sales wise, telling us rice and side portions were very small so did we want 2? And he got a bit funny when another couple with our group had the Audacity to share a rice! To top it off they tried adding a 12.5% service charge which we wasn’t prepared to pay so instead we left a 5% tip Instead which again was greeted with an uncomfortable exchange with the waiter when working the bill out, we won’t be rushing back."

"we have visited the Thai place several times before and always had a wonderful service and great eating and drinking. Previously there was an amazing cocktail menu and the personal was always so friendly and welcoming. at this opportunity we were very disappointed to find that the beverage menu was very reduced only 4 cocktails and 2 of them were not available) . the atmosphere in the restaurant was not the same as we visited before and the 2 employees seemed uninterested. the food was as always, amazing! full of taste and beautifully presented so that we enjoy our meal, but the evening overall was not the one we were <br looking forward . I would still recommend Thai place, since I hope our visit this time was a way out and that when we dine there again, the dinge again, as they always used to <br be ."

"We originally hesitated to visit this restaurant until we saw its 4-star rating. However, we soon realized that the lower ratings were likely from non-Asian individuals who may not be as familiar with Asian flavors. One critic mentioned that they use the same masala everywhere, but it became clear to me that they were not well-versed in Asian cuisine. I decided to disregard the negative reviews and give it a try. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who want to enjoy flavorful and authentic Asian dishes. The owner, Mr. Arif, was even willing to customize a curry to our liking by adding naga apron upon request. The food portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. I visited three other restaurants in Belfast over the course of three days, including Jhorna, Kathmandu Kitchen, and Bites of India, but this one stood out as the best choice."

"Just a quick review, we were walking about looking for somewhere to eat and come across this place. We try to find small businesses rather than big chains to support them. My partner and I had a good experience here and the fried rice was one of the best I've ever had. We had more than we could eat, the portions were good and i really enjoyed my meal. Service was with a smile and prompt, my only suggestion would be to give this little place a makeover if ever possible as quite tired. Also like to point out this Indian is by far the cheapest around where you could pay double just by walking a few streets. Overall all lovely experience enjoyed my food what more could you want?"

"Small frontage but surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable restaurant. We're doing meat-free May so wanted somewhere with no meaty smells or options and this was perfect. Tried some new dishes the dhosa was amazing and I'll definitely be going back for that. I got to try pani puri which was fun and surprisingly tasty for what it was. We'll be back next time we're in the vicinity. Service was pleasant but nothing special the food is definitely a reason to return though."

"If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I ordered at 6:45pm and they told me food would arrive by 8pm (which is already a very long time). When the food did come, only 3 items out of 7 were there and those 3 items were cold! I rang this place and told them the situation and they were extremely rude to me. After a while they agreed to send the missing items but it is now 2 hours later and nothing has come! I have tried to ring them for the last hour and it always says User Busy! They have stolen my money and done it with no shame! Do not order or eat from here"

"Proper South Indian food after a very long time. We ordered Kerala Paratha with Chetinad Chicken gravy and chicken tikka briyani. Upon request the chef had prepared our order in Desi style and it was delicious. Chetinad chicken gravy is a must try. "This place used to have good food and service but was disappointed during this visit. Starters were good but the main course was very disappointing. They did not have my reservation on file even though I had a confirmation regarding the same. "We visited here after it being recommended by friends and family, they said to go on a Sunday and try the buffet. We visited today and we were very disappointed, the car park is far too small and everyone parked terribly so had to park on a nearby street (which is no fault of the restaurant) We then went inside and were pointed in the direction of a table where we would be seated. The waiter asked if we were having the buffet or normal menu. We said buffet, we then helped our self to the food which there was a poor choice of, we both had chicken pakoras and onion bhajis, poppadom and pickle tray to start, they were all very dry as if they had been out all day! We went back and had some of the bhuna curry which was nice but only one choice of rice and plain naan. After we had finished our meal we went to pay the bill, and were asked if we had had a Long Island iced tea we had not we had 2 x Pepsis, he then proceeded to charge us for the Long Island and pint of beer that we had not had, we only knew this as we asked for the bill after. They refunded the difference but with no real apology. Overall would not recommended at all Katmandont!"
