"Proper South Indian food after a very long time. We ordered Kerala Paratha with Chetinad Chicken gravy and chicken tikka briyani. Upon request the chef had prepared our order in Desi style and it was delicious. Chetinad chicken gravy is a must try. Staff was very friendly and got inputs from us and suggested good options to try."

"Me and my husband went for a romantic meal, and by looking at the reviews I was concerned at first but it was completely different when we got there. All my skepticism was taken away as soon as I saw the huge smile on the staff's faces as we entered the door. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent. As we have never had Nepalese cuisine before the staff helped us through the menu and helped us choose food that we might like. We decided to go with their recommendations and I am so glad we did. I have not had such a delicious meal in a long time. Me and my husband have already decided to go back to celebrate my birthday. "There was no food available and I am not sure if they even serve food at this restaurant, so I am giving it 1 star. The alcohol-free selection was limited, and I don't always want to just drink coke or water. Our tables were grouped in pairs, which was frustrating since we had booked two tables of 4 several days in advance. We called earlier in the day to confirm our reservation, but there were no reserved signs when we arrived. This was not ideal for a family gathering to watch a football game."

"Booked a table here for 7pm on a Saturday and appreciate they are probably getting ready for a busy night but the whole experience was incredibly rushed. Soon as we sat down we were asked by a surly waiter how many popadoms we wanted, which were unceremoniously dumped on the table. Immediately asked what we wanted to eat and felt rushed to make a decision. The food came out very quickly (10 minutes tops) and the remaining popadom and condiments removed. We were in and out in 40 minutes. However, the food was nice enough (butter chicken a bit watery) and good value, though we’d usually share a rice but the portion of rice was very small so I’d suggest ordering one for each person. Would probably visit again but maybe not for a special occasion (partners birthday)."

"Had a lousy experience at Krishna's Inn. My wife is South Indian and we moved to Bristol area recently so we were looking for good places to eat. This isn't one of them. When we arrived we were told that service would be slow because...they had a lot of takeaway orders. There was only one other table being used. This was on a Saturday night! The menu had food stains on it. We ordered anyway and then sat with poppadoms and wine. The restaurant was cold. During that time I visited the loo and it was awful. There were pee stains around the toilet seat, the soap dispenser was empty and the hot water tap didn't work. After half an hour of waiting for our food we asked the waiter what was happening. He went to the kitchen and came back to tell us our food would be another minutes. We paid for our drinks and left."

"I celebrated my birthday with four friends at an Indian restaurant and chose Magna for the occasion. Having been there a few times before, I knew they would not disappoint. We ordered 2 lamb korai dishes, one lamb jalfrezi, and a chicken dish. The food was incredible - the mix of flavors in the korai was mind-blowing, the jalfrezi was hot and fiery just as it should be, and the peshwari nan bread helped dial down the heat. The restaurant staff were attentive and polite, ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for their house special dishes like the Lamb gosht (korai) served in a cast iron dish. I also ordered takeaway that evening and the food still looked amazing! Thank you Magna for a fantastic meal and evening!"

"Over the past 20 months, I have had the pleasure of purchasing new audio equipment from The Sound Organization. The service and advice provided to me by Matt were excellent. I recently visited their location in York to demo the new speakers, the Donator D7.2, and the Rega Planar 8 turntable. After the demo, I decided to purchase both items as well as Atacama furniture. Once everything arrived, Matt offered to come to my house in Kendal in the Lake District to install the audio equipment. This was a fantastic service that I greatly appreciated.
