"Carluccio's in Reading is relaxed with a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant/shop combo is a good idea. The food for reasonably priced, in fact not much more than Strada. Quality was not excellent my calamari starter was a little dry and the seafood risotto a tad watery. They were under staffed the evening we went. It took a couple of minutes standing like a lemon before the front of house lady had a chance to seat us, and the food took a long time to arrive. However staff were friendly."

"This is our old standby Northwest London Indian. We often try different places but in the end nothing beats Meghna. Service can be a bit slow but the food is very good and not expensive. The tandoori mixed grill is a good value, the kebabs are tasty, and we're fans of the garlic balti dishes. It can be spicy as you want it to be."

Just a word of warning for those who see their vouchers on groupon..don't buy them as even though they're still selling them they won't accept them, nor let you in beyond the locked door. "Been about a year since last visiting, and pleased to report that the food and service is still superb.From the chicken pakora starter, that was so tasty and juicy, seeing the herbs in the batter mix, to the daily specials on offer. All cooked superbly. And the thing that makes Kadirs stand out is their genuine interest in making sure you enjoy your food and if you want to know about what you're eating they will take the time to explain it to you.Tried a recommended competitor recently and that was massively disappointing, boring food and no interaction from the staff..... If you want some unusual dishes, that are sublime, a relaxed atmosphere (without white table clothes), great service then Kadir's is for you to try."

"When I first ate at this restaurant it was really good value for money as i booked the 50% offer. However on this occasion, the menu had changed and the prices have increased. Nevertheless, the food is tasty and not oily, but a bit too spicy. I t would be good if they could give the option on whether you want the dishes mild, medium or hot. Service was really good and quick. The staff are very attentive. I will definitely go again, but only if opentable or restaurant had the 50% offer!"

"Amazing experience. I booked a table in advance to surprise my wife and they were accomdating with availability. Whilst we were trying to find parking space I contacted them to make them aware we were on the way they understood and were flexible with allocating seating. When we arrived the atmosphere was amazing,dimmed lighting,great music playing in the background. All the staff went above and beyond with giving food suggestions and the meal options was great. Highly recommended, amazing costumers service would definitely go again."

"I had been looking forward to dining here for quite some time, and while it certainly was an experience, the food and service did not meet my expectations. I was with a group of ten, and the noise level in the restaurant was so high that I could barely hear the person next to me, let alone my guest at the end of the table. Additionally, the cocktail waiter at the bar seemed disinterested, and it took over 40 minutes to receive our cocktails, despite the bar being relatively empty. If you're seeking an authentic dining experience, this place may be worth a visit, but I won’t be in a hurry to return."
