"Been about a year since last visiting, and pleased to report that the food and service is still superb.From the chicken pakora starter, that was so tasty and juicy, seeing the herbs in the batter mix, to the daily specials on offer. All cooked superbly. And the thing that makes Kadirs stand out is their genuine interest in making sure you enjoy your food and if you want to know about what you're eating they will take the time to explain it to you.Tried a recommended competitor recently and that was massively disappointing, boring food and no interaction from the staff..... If you want some unusual dishes, that are sublime, a relaxed atmosphere (without white table clothes), great service then Kadir's is for you to try."

Some of the best Indian I've had in a long time, portion of curry could've been bigger and it seemed only my dish was lacking compared to my companions. The onion Bhaji's were lovely and crispy. It is BYOB so make sure you pack a few Stella's for the road

amazing service as soon as they get in, eating is excellent as they cook like home. the cook came and spoke to us at our table to make sure that everything was in order. recommend this restaurant. I would always come back, this will be my regular place and recommend it to my friends

very impressive especially to accommodate 7 of us. Food came out in good time and tasted fantastic. Staff were highly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Allowed us to bring our own alcohol and then provided us with glasses which is always a bonus. Highly recommend

that was teh best curry I had for a long time. not as posh as some restaurants in portsmouth and relatiw small, but kadir’s offers something great eating. combine this with the friendly service, and it is beautiful. it was my first visit to this restaurant, but I felt like I was invited by an old friend to dinner.

After storm Eunice hit we fancied a biriani on our visit to Portsmouth. I scoped out a few places on this road and went with Kadir's. Yummy!. The food was fragrant and tasty, the chef prepared the dish perfectly to my liking. I will go back for a sit down meal next time. Staff were friendly too, which is always nice.

landed on the banks to portsmouth and the children wanted to eat Indian food. we found kadir’s restaurant. excellent service and absolutely delicious food. team respected our individual decisions and was pleased to make changes like hotter or less hot. I would recommend everyone to go there and enjoy delicious eating in very good ambiente.

amazing eating and great service. shows the best Indian restaurant in portsmouth. many vegan options to choose from and the menu has a large selection of Indian street eating that they may not find in their normal Indian restaurant. the staff is very friendly helpful. come back. make sure to bring their own drinks, as they have no alcoholic license.

They welcomed us even though it was already very late. The place is really clean and elegant, the service excellent, the staff really kind. They offered us a free opening dish, then we had 4 starters and 4 main courses, all really delicious and really plentiful dishes, so much so that 2 of us could have eaten from one dish. We reluctantly left a lot of food but it was a lot many asked for the dog bag. Thanks again to the very kind and very patient owner.
