"We came here as an after show meal, as a large group of about 16, they took their time to send us the menu in advance so we could order ahead and the food be ready as we arrived. For myself, I ordered the Tandoori Lamb Chops for starter, what arrived was a super tender and super flavourful pair of lamb chops, which I wish wouldn 't have ended as they were just so tasty! Main I ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill, again... another delicious mix of Chicken and Lamb, full of flavour and just delicious! The sides and accompaniments were tasty. I hadn 't been for an Indian meal in ages, and I 'm glad it was this one!"

"I recently enjoyed a wonderful set meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka and seekh kebab starters, along with the salad, onion salad, and minted yogurt, were all delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the naan bread was soft and excellent. However, two of the main courses were somewhat disappointing as they were too sweet. The chicken tikka masala and mattar paneer seemed overly sweet, almost like a dessert. It's a shame because the underlying flavors were good. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for this issue. We had booked online and received a text message notifying us that delivery would be delayed by 40 minutes. Initially, we considered canceling our order. However, after making a phone call, our meal was delivered in just 30 minutes. It's definitely worth calling to place your order!"

"Friends encouraged us to try this takeaway instead of out other favoured local restaurant, stating everything was so fresh, so for our once a month Friday night treat we decided to give it a go. I wish we had just ordered from our reliable trusted restaurant. Poppadum's were rancid and inedible, clearly VERY old fat in the fryer. Pappads were burnt. Mint sauce was watered down so split, the mango chutney was sugary water, also watered down. The Onion salad has very little coriander, no mint and tough. The Nann was undercooked, chewy and insipid, the Tikka Balti had sliced chicken not cubed, but the Tikka Masala had cubed chicken? I have no idea what went wrong, but it was to such an extent I will never ever be ordering again."

"We visited Jasmine last October and had a fantastic meal, but tonight was really disappointing. The starters were just mediocre; my chicken chaat tasted as if it had been repurposed from another dish, and the channa puri was bland and resembled overcooked chickpeas soaked in red sugar water. We had both of these dishes before, and they were delicious! Additionally, they didn’t seem to expect us, even though we had made a reservation for my mother's 70th birthday party through OpenTable."

"I was initially hesitant to try this restaurant as it always seems to be empty, but I will definitely be coming back in the future. The service was attentive, the food was delicious with generous portions, and the prices were reasonable at £17 for poppadoms, curry, rice, naan, and a large Cobra beer. My only suggestion would be to change the music, which was a bit bland and sounded like background music at a Bangra party."

"The food is good but what's the point when it often doesn't turn up? Once could be a mistake, twice I'm starting to look for somewhere else and by the third time that I'm sat like a lemon waiting for a delivery I've decided I've had it with this place. It wouldn't be so bad if they cared but they just want to make excuses. The last straw was that they told me it was my fault the good didn't arrive because I ordered on line. "Never again! Have not been there for 10 years and will Never go back. Not sure who paid you to write those amazing reviews or you never had any quality food and good service in you life probably. This is place is far from fine dining! Waiters come and go to your table in bunches, like 5 were servicing us on Valentine’s Day 2023. Only manager made and eye contact and somehow cared. The rest do not make any eye contact and look tired and fed up. Food is supermarket quality not joking) overprice and takes ages to get cooked and service is below 0. I never write reviews for restaurants unless I want to either warn people or really recommend a good place! In this care warning do not water your time and money."

"Myself and my partner have been coming here every few weeks for nearly a year now, even right now while we’re both kind of broke. We will continue to do so. The food is fantastic, the best curry i’ve had in london and the owner is always so kind and up for a friendly chat. We always get the same thing, which I imagine isn’t their priciest order, but we are never pressured to spend more (which makes a massive difference and keeps you coming back to a place). The same certainly can’t be said of other restaurants in the area, and particularly the road. Would give 10 stars if I could."

"The food is always excellent at Zaras. We are regular customers and it’s nice to be recognised by the friendly staff. The atmosphere is always good. The best Espresso Martini (They call it chocolate martini) in town. "We decided to give Radhuny another chance on New Year's Eve, after avoiding it since March due to disappointing service. Unfortunately, our experience was still poor. We were seated under the air conditioner and when we mentioned it was cold, nothing was done. We were not offered to move. The wine was brought to our table without asking if we wanted to try it, and it was already opened and had a glass consumed from it. We had to flag down another waiter when the first one disappeared without a word. The Prawn puree starter was served cold and we had to ask for it to be reheated. The main dishes came out but we had no cutlery to eat with, and had to borrow from the table next to us. We had to wave our arms to signal another waitress for cutlery, with no apology given. When we asked for a glass of the wine we had been drinking, we were told we could only have the house wine. We suggested paying for a glass from the opened bottle, but were informed it was only for the manager. There was no attempt to make amends for the poor service, and a service charge was added which we had removed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Radhuny despite the great food, as the service was the worst we have experienced. We hope management will make improvements for future guests."

"Hate to write this review as Mint has always been amazing.. but today we received rice with salt in instead of coconut, we only realised after we mixed the rice with our curries. We phoned up and they were great and sent out what we thought was new rice and curry, however it was just the new rice. So now we only have a little bit of curry we could save from the salt with the new rice : feel so sad writing this review as the food is always great, but the situation is annoying and we aren't getting the money back for having to waste most of a curry."

"We hadnt been here for a good few years but used to be regulars when we lived on Alma Vale Road. We walked in last night to get a take away, orrdering a Chicken Bom and a King Prawn Jalfry with Garlic and Mushroom rices, two plain and two spicy popadoms. The service was good and the food arrived quickly and was hot. Both curry dishes were a bit bland with little depth to the flavours and were far to oily to be enjoyable. The spiced podadoms werent cooked but the rices, whilst a little oily were fine with a good balance of teh respective garlic and mushroom. We are glad that we didnt dine in, the decor is tired and teh table settings uninspiring. Overall just an average experience for us. Because of the blandness and consistency of teh main dishes we didnt find that the Bristol Raj offered good value for money"

"My friends and I ate here using the Eat Out Help Out discount. I can't fault the food, it was really delicious and good portion sizes. Social distancing is non existent here. The tables are really close together. My friends chairs were touching the chairs of the party on the next table. We asked if we could move to another table that didn't back onto other tables. The head waiter was quite rude and said that the restaurant was fully booked and he wouldn't keep moving as around as new guests arrived (as the evening went on no other guests came to the restaurant). He added if we didn't like it then to go somewhere else. We ended up cramming onto one side of the table. By that time we have been waiting an hour for our main course to come out and it was getting late to try and attempt going to another restaurant. Otherwise, we would have left at that point. We understand restaurants are having a tough time, so didn't want to make too much of a fuss."
