"Visited this lunchtime to see what this old favourite was doing these days. I dropped in for a quick drink and stopped for what I can only describe as the best treat that my taste buds have had in a long time. Exquisite Thai food, beautiful presentation served by people who truly care about what they do. I would eat here every day if I could and can't wait to bring my family and friends to eat here. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. So glad that I took a little detour on the way home. My sincere thanks to you for fantastic service and the best lunch that I have had in a long time and at a very reasonable price!. Been back here and it just gets better. Everyone here really cares about what they do."

"I visited twice this year to close it, which was very sad, as the guy there is great and the food he prepares is highest quality. a couple of counters and a small table explains why he is so busy with take-away food. try the spicy thun-fish dragon of only the freshly made sushimi (spelling, which is rugged in the ground, from raw fresh thun-fish so many places have only salmon or garnel. if they like me, they will travel miles to go there and it is a few hundred meters away, the good but pricier tomoe Japanese restaurant"

"The menu boasts a diverse array of Vietnamese delicacies, each dish a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The pho, a signature Vietnamese noodle soup, is a standout – rich, fragrant broth paired with tender slices of beef or aromatic herbs for the vegetarian option. The attentive staff at Khoai Cafe adds a personal touch to the dining experience, offering recommendations and ensuring that each visit is a memorable one. The décor, adorned with traditional Vietnamese elements, enhances the authenticity of the overall atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Vietnamese cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore its culinary wonders, Khoai Cafe is a gem that captures the essence of Vietnam's gastronomic heritage right in the heart of North London. Immerse yourself in the delightful flavors and cultural richness that make this restaurant a standout choice for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine."

"We have been regular visitors to elephant royale at docklands for many years and always loved it. Not this time! Since it has changed to kinkao its nowhere near as good. Service was awful. It wasn't even busy and tables were not laid, we were ignored when we arrived, took ages to order, drinks took forever to come and we were brought the wrong food, portions too small and food doesn't taste as good. The service overall was so slow and we heard several people chase up food/ drinks/ to even ask for a menu and to place an order. Sort it out kinkao! It was a little gem before and It's certainly not the same as it used to be (which was fabulous) Will think twice about going again now which is a real shame!"

"The hotel was excellent, the staff so welcoming. The atmosphere is so peaceful. The breakfast was absolutely spot on. I would recommend this hotel to all, it is a 3 minute walk to the Poplar DLR station which then gets you access to all of London Transport and Underground. If going to the O2 then this is the hotel to choose IMO. Parking for the Hotel is use the Indigo Car park on West India Quay, £22 for 24hrs (at time of this review). But you get a £4 reduction on showing your VAT reciept from the Hotel. The car park is walking distance, 15 mins or just 1 stop to Poplar via the DLR. (Oyster card recommended). But please do not just take my word for it, search other reviews or better still take a London trip and stay yourself, you will not be disappointed."

"I have been to the Beeston Lobster Pot, so I was expecting great quality but this still exceeded expectations. We ordered a few starters to share which we unfortunately forgot to photograph. They were all very good, especially the Haddock Chowder. For main course we ordered the Ultimate Seafood Platter which had delights of lobster, clams, crabs, prawns and oysters. The lobster had a choice of sauces and we had the cheese option this time. We enjoyed the evening tremendously, not only because of the marvellous food but also because of the magnificent service, which was friendly and informal, making things very comfortable. The overall cost is a little more than other restaurants but I feel that the quality of the food and the excellent service easily justify the extra cost. I have spoken to my dining partner and we will be returning to try other options."

"I’ve been to Nippon Kitchen many times. I find service is either amazing or poor never in between. The vegan bento box is great value for money and tastes great. Included in the bento box for about £11 miso soup, 3 sushi rolls, veg tempura, 2 dumplings, soy beans, curry and rice. Ordering meals separately, I find is expensive and not worth it. Overall love the restaurant and definitely would go back. Clear, separate vegan menus."

"We booked the pre theatre menu which advised 2 course for £19 provided ordered before 7pm we arrived 630pm they first refused to honour the menu booking despite my e mail confirmation (we booked in Feb and confirmed several times then they finally agreed after ringing head office but gave us a £21 set menu and the guy was pretty rude about it. We did all order a cocktail and paid the £25 tip and gave the table back by 8 pm but left a sour taste to be honest and wouldnt go back to this branch of Thai Sq in Putney again"

"I was on my way to another restaurant when I noticed this one, thought haven't tried it so here we go I was the only person in the place but that's not difficult at most people come out later. Ordered my soup, main, veg and rice along with a Chang to wash it down. I asked that it be brought to the table en masse rather than soup and then main because I like the that the soup can be used to freshen the taste buds. The soup was one of my favourites a hot and fragrant Tom Yum Hed, my chicken Jungle Curry was slightly too sweet but otherwise was great along with the Siam Lady, a mix of deep fried aubergine and chilli all mellowed out with some plain boiled rice and of...read more"

"We decided to have dinner at Royal Thai during a night out in London. We have visited a few times before and the food is consistently delicious, and the service is excellent. We made a reservation online earlier in the day and called an hour before we arrived, which was a good idea because the restaurant was fully booked. Additionally, we were able to take advantage of the "eat out to help out" discount."

"Nice restaurant with good food but table and chairs need updating and the walkway to the main restaurant is quiet dangerous as you have to walk up a small bridge in the restaurant. Overall very nice food and service."

"This is my second time giving a one-star review. I decided to review this place and brought a friend along with me because I heard it was a great spot for Thai food. I'll keep this brief. We went for lunch and there was only one other couple there. We ordered a bottle of New Zealand white wine but received a bottle of cheap white wine instead. When I mentioned this, the waiter said it was all they had. I asked the waiter for food recommendations but he couldn't suggest anything. We ordered four dishes and each one came out warm and quickly. I requested fresh chilis but was given sweet chili sauce instead. The waiter never checked on us during our meal and instead sat watching something on his laptop. Overall, I was very disappointed with this place, especially after reading the great reviews."

"Located just a short distance from the city center, this Thai restaurant in Bedford is excellent. The restaurant can accommodate around 40 people and was relatively quiet when we visited around 7 o'clock."

"This cozy, family-owned Thai Malaysian restaurant offers easy parking at a nearby council car park. A nice touch with the colorful prawn crackers served as a snack. We enjoyed a bottle of Thai Monsoon white wine with our meal. The starters of chicken satay and prawn in a parcel were delicious, though it would've been preferred if the chicken was cut into smaller pieces on the skewer. The sauces were tasty. For the main course, the lamb Massaman curry was flavorful with large chunks of lamb cooked to perfection. The Nasi Goreng was a bit spicy but enjoyable, and they even added a fried egg on top per our request. The coconut rice was a nice accompaniment. The prawn and broccoli curry had tender broccoli and tasty prawns in a good sauce. The staff was friendly, polite, cheerful, and efficient. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and good value for money."

"I regret to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was lacking, with only one other table of diners, and the temperature was uncomfortably cold. The quality of the food was poor and the high prices on the bill only added to our disappointment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"I highly recommend Miyako and will certainly return. I'm not fond of sushi but that was not an issue as the menu had plenty of alternative options. The food was really tasty, good-sized portions and the service warm, friendly and efficient. It's quite a small restaurant so I would recommend booking in advance."

"The restaurant was closed and no one contacted us. We had planned to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday there, so we were really disappointed. Thankfully, we found Sushinoen, a restaurant just a 13-minute walk away, which saved our night. The Japanese food was amazing and authentic, highly recommended. We will not be trying Kirin restaurant again and do not recommend it to anyone."

"This restaurant serves the best Thai food we have ever had outside of Thailand. The staff member who served us was the nicest we have encountered in any restaurant. They adjusted the chili heat levels for us, recommended dishes based on our preferences, and even offered to accommodate us for the night when it seemed we might be locked out. As self-proclaimed foodies who cook at a high standard at home, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had many conversations with the staff. We will definitely return to this restaurant if we ever find ourselves back in Sheffield."

"It was my sister's birthday and i was the one that choose this place, based on my last experience with them the very first time they opened the one in Hammersmith. But alas when we got there we were all very disappointed, it was not the same as when we first started. FOOD PORTION WERE VERY VERY VERY VERY SMALL. I ordered for them beef BBQ. there was like six little beef served to me in a bowl, and it was labelled TWO portion. was not able to cook it myself... My sis could not eat the noddle she ordered for. was horrible. The dumpling were nice though lmfao. Drinks were overpriced and small. Food were ridiculously small for an expensive price. I felt so bad taking my sis there for her birthday, as she was so disappointed. SMH"
