"I went out to Bangkok cafe with a friend a few weeks ago and order their steak with tiger sauce. Very beautiful. I was so excited I bought my husband 2 weeks later after hyping the place up and we ordered the same thing. It was terrible, the rice was dry or stale, the steak wasn’t as good, the whole plate was different from the last time I came. Even the sauce wasn’t not the same thing. The server didn’t even care when I tried to address them and ask why it’s different. She couldn’t be bothered. I wasted £55 pounds on food work 15 if that. TERRIBLE and INCONSISTENT"

"this was the first restaurant that I found when using happy cow to eat, so it should be my first to also be checked! I was drawn to come here through their fascinating vegan options, especially the banana-blood “fish” and chips. it also had a very large selection of beautiful looking eating for my omni woman to choose. the pub itself, when large, but secretly with beautiful decor. we had arrived to arrive immediately and our food did not take too long to arrive once ordered. I ordered a dietary coke and the banane blossom “fish” and chips. When my teller arrived, I was taken back by the fact that the vegan tartar sauce was served in an oyster dish. I hoped it was thoroughly cleaned, but it is also not very sensitive to a vegan mindset. the food itself was charming, but the teig was crazy good and my first time that the bananese blossom impressed me very much! I finished eating all the teller and was very full! when the bill came to my shock I saw that we were calculated for the dietary pepsi (a famous non vegan drink) instead of diet cakes. the restaurant did not tell us that they had this on hahn in the opposite to koks, so without my knowledge or my mood they served me a non vegan drink. I was pretty upset and just wanted to get out, so she didn't know what happened, though I probably would have. I think that both the as well as the entire serviers sauce in an oyster shell shows that some places are ready to provide for vegan (for inclusiveness or profit), but must make sure that they understand every aspekt that goes into it. so I recommend her banan blossom ‘fish’, but be careful was drinks they order there."

"so happy to have found during my week stay in london halal koreas eating! I ordered the tofu seafood jjigae and beef bibimbap for me and had the most amazing meal I am a fan of Korean cuisine and eating in kinkao korea could not taste more authentic, homemade and tasty. the chef is really generous with the part of the seafood in the stew and the bibimbap had all the highlights of a stone pot bibibap! the fluffy short-grain rice was coupled with crispy pieces of burned rice (like the species as it should be and the sauce was made in the house and had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and sour. all the aromas of bibimbap came together harmoniously and it was the perfect antidote...read more"

"I wanted to have Thai food with my daughter. Both of us had spent a while in Thailand and really enjoyed the cuisine. My daughter wanted to try it, but she didn't really enjoy it. The food was good, but the overall experience was not. I asked a young girl if we could use the restroom, but the waitress rudely said no. I felt embarrassed for the girl, as Thais are usually more welcoming. Our meal was good, but my daughter lost her appetite after that incident. When we asked to take the rest of our meal home, we were charged an extra £1 for a take-out box, which surprised me as we were in Finchley, not the West End. There were no hand drying facilities in the restroom, and when I mentioned this to the waitress, she was rude. We paid the bill, did not leave a tip, and were charged an additional £2 for the take-out box. It was a disappointing evening and we will not be returning. Mai ow."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"This restaurant is fantastic - the food and service are both excellent! My favorite dish was the black cod glazed with miso, served with lime-soaked vegetables. It was absolutely delicious! I also tried their sushi rolls, the rainbow and volcano, which were packed with flavor and made even better by the fresh fish. I highly recommend this place for lunch, but dinner is also a great option!"

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at SoPa Thai, and it was truly a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to a world of Thai sophistication and allure. The culinary exploration began with Tom Kha, a delightful combination of coconut milk, galangal, and lemongrass. Each spoonful was a delicious harmony of creamy and zesty flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. It wasn't just soup; it felt like a warm embrace in a bowl. Next, the beautifully presented Green Curry arrived. The curry was a work of art, filled with the richness of green chilies and fragrant basil leaves. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was incredibly tender, all bathed in a sauce that was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Then came the highlight of the evening, Pad Thai. The noodles were coated in a flavorful tamarind sauce, mixed with eggs, tofu, and a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The dish was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds amazed. The grand finale was the Mango and Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, a wonderful complement to the warm yet slightly salty sticky rice. Drizzled with coconut milk, this dessert was not just a treat but a festival of flavors. In summary, SoPa Thai is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary paradise. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise in balancing flavors and textures. If you're in search of an authentic Thai dining experience, SoPa Thai is the place to go. Their Tom Kha, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice take you on a journey through the heart of Thailand. I highly recommend it!"

"I still haven 't got my head around how the name of this restaurant should be pronounced, the best I can do is kao fi ray a but what is certain this is a great restaurant in the wonderful granite city, the restaurant seems to be a refurbished bank on a scale of a cathedral to Thai food with golden exotic statues gracing several key points. The atmosphere is intoxicating far eastern promise, and must represent a significant investment in design and execution. Service was gracious and attentive at all times by Mairi. We feasted on Prawn Tom Yum and Kha, pork tenderloin, duck tamarind, coconut rice and jasmine rice plus two large bottles of Singaha for an all up cost of £66, and very good value."

"Booked a table online for 7 people and got confirmation via email to say it had been received by the restaurant. On arriving at the restaurant I mentioned my name for the booking and the time, and the server looked confused and then asked how many people it was for. She told me and my friend to wait while she set up the table. Not sure how their online booking system works but they hadn’t realised we were coming. Luckily the restaurant was empty so there was plenty room for us. We were given Thai prawn crackers while we chose our food from the menu. Cutlery was set up for half of the table by the server and then the other half had to set it up themselves. We laughed this off as we couldn’t see a reason for the server only doing half and then walking away. We ordered a mixture of dishes between us and found they all arrived at different times, so some had almost finished by the time other food arrived. We felt that there was perhaps only one chef so the food didn’t come out at the same time. My duck pad thai was tasty and came with a good amount of duck. However my roti was mostly burnt on one side, as was my friend’s one. My friend enjoyed her tom yum soup which was not too spicy but filling. The salads were very spicy! At the end of the meal we were given a bill which wasn’t ours. It was a receipt for a takeaway order where none of the dishes matched what we had. My friend went to complain and get the correct bill (which the server didn’t quite understand). We were eventually given the correct one with service charge added on. We did not receive an apology for the mix up from the server. We reluctantly paid the service charge added on though not believing the service received warranted as such. No COVID measures in place apart from mask wearing, however some of the kitchen staff came out of the kitchen clearly not wearing one. We wore our masks when not at the table but there was no signs or enforcement to do this."

"If you want a Japanese delivery with the best classic dishes in Edinburgh, I would say this is the best. I have checked the other Japanese delivery and the menu is not as extensive as this one. I ordered quite a huge selection of food...to have a proper taste of their food. The fish was fresh I have to say. The sushi and the temaki rice are great as well but they tend to put too much rice so the whole thing becomes like a big clump with too much rice. I know the bigger portion the bigger the value but with Japanese sushi and temaki it needs to be moderately supplied to ensure it does not destroy the fresh fish flavour. The fried chicken chicken karaage seems to be a bit on a dry side but they supplied plenty of the chicken for the portion. The agedashi tofu has a harder tofu than I thought but good broth. The soft shell crab tempura was almost not worth it with just 2 or 3 pieces of crab so best to avoid. The only highlight I thought was definitely the Aubergine with Miso Sauce. The aubergine was properly roasted to provide intense flavour and the thick miso sauce really complemented the aubergine. The dishes were clearly prepared with a thought of delivery quick and roughly prepared to mimic Japanese food. I have to say there is definitely room for improvement and they really need to improve on the quality of the food."

"It’s a nice cosy place. You probably would not expect this level of restaurant in this area but it was good. I had tuna sashimi and a salmon mix of sushi. The portion sizes offer good value for money the fish is fresh. The salmon was particularly tasty. The tuna was fresh but was a little bland but that’s really pot luck with tuna. A good place to go for lunch or a light dinner. I will go back to try the noodles and dumplings and update my review. Thanks"

"Lovely restaurant in vicinity of London Bridge. Decor and atmosphere was nice place for a dinner with drinks. The place was not busy and we were quickly given a table. We had a tempura and unagi roll, and a salmon set which was tasty. Sashimi was thick cut and fresh. Staff was friendly and checked on us frequently. The only negative was they made a mistake in our order twice, but was quick to rectify and food came on table timely probably a new staff. The menu was a white sheet with text, and i wonder if it was a covid 19 reduced menu or not as i found the menu slightly plain. Prices were on the steeper side. May visit again if i crave sushi and am in the area, but would not go specifically."

"terrible. randomly in this place for a fast pre-theater dinner. terrible. I wish we hadn't. the waitress was incredibly rude, the food medium was best. with so many good places to eat in london, this restaurant deserves to go out of business. made me sick to pay for this experience. it is the Thai equivalent of mcdonalds, except in mcdonalds the employees are generally polite and eating is cheap."

"my first experience of thai food. our friends went to chaophraya in edinburgh and loved it. Although chaophraya is a chain, it seems that everyone is something different. this special place had a beautiful ambiente and decor to put a chilled mood. we were received to sit up. a beautiful spacious opposite. a very wide menu, very well organized, but so hard to know what to choose with the many options. the only place where I have ever frangelico on the drink card! a definitive winner! a “must taste” drink! my eating option was very good and the additional egg frying was also not disappointed. Unfortunately my wife wasn't too sharp. the service is also friendly. they are observing and thoughtful support, where possible, very good. Although it seems to be a lot of waiters/waxes standing around you and eating you, which makes it easy to unpleasant. the toilet areas are clean and regularly controlled, keeping a clean standard. parking is also plentiful. there are many places to park, to walk from the restaurant. Thai food would not be my personal first option, but if they are in Thai food, then this might be the place for them. as a Google reviewer in the top 10% of the reviewers for the restaurants we were also granted a 15% discount, which was very friendly. many thanks to all employees in chaophraya."

"I have visited the Thai square in fulham, south kenignton, but my favourite place is in putney brigde, meal after the sun is down through the rvier is simply stunning. services never disappoint that these young are very friendly and attentive - always, thank you. but the quality of food was really not the same. I dare to say without taste. too salty, my seafood hot dish for 17£ was not enough of everything. it wasn't as good as ever! our bill was up to now about 80-90 for a delicious dinner with the desert and we take quite exactly the same dishes each time. our bill without desert comes to £140. I've been disappointed!"
