"This is the worse kebab shop I have ever been too. £10 for a few pieces of fatty doner, we counted 24 re cooked crispy chips! Not even a pita bread either!! The main staff calling himself the manager the tall (ish) guy with a huge attitude doesn’t know anything about customer care. He also over charged us Stole an extra £2.50 from our bill too!! "great food! new at coulsdon, I thought thai venue looked good, but a real shand was so quiet at a Fri evening. 3 of us had the cheapest of set menus with a bottle of wine and coffee and it was just under £20 a head. especially eating was excellent, the service inconspicuous but efficient. probably better than baan thai in purley (although I love the decor there! . will certainly go back this restaurant deserves to be more business!"

"I ordered takeout from Anna's Thai for the second time on February 4th, and I must say, this was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When I called to place an order for delivery, I was told that I had to order online. Before I could respond, the person on the other end of the line hung up. Despite enjoying the food previously, I placed an order with the expectation that my delivery would arrive within an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes passed, I had to call twice as they kept telling me the driver was on the way, first in 5-6 minutes and then 3 minutes. Unfortunately, my partner, who is diabetic, was becoming unwell due to his sugar levels, so I cancelled the order and demanded a refund. I was then told that the driver mistook my neighbour for the one who ordered (clearly not reading the order properly) and that they would prepare another meal for us. I rushed out to get an alternative takeaway to avoid further delays, only to find out that our food was being accepted by our so-called neighbour (the driver asked if the food was for them at the specific door number). This was essentially theft and shocking. When I confronted the driver about this and why he was giving our food to someone else, he wanted to give it back to me, which is against Health Safety regulations. I declined and asked him to take the food back. The driver then swore at me, got back in the car, and sped off. Although the restaurant responded to my email quickly, they have not taken any accountability for the situation, claiming that they don't have control over the drivers' behavior once they leave the shop, and their only responsibility is to drop off the food. I am still waiting to see if they will acknowledge their failure to meet customer expectations. My advice: do not order from Anna's Thai."

"This is a review for takeout. We ordered a Thai takeaway for a family of 4 adults and found it to be expensive, costing over £84 with a pre-set delivery charge and service charge included. Although I don't mind paying for good food, the portion sizes did not match the price we paid. The hot and sour soup was served in a tiny plastic bowl with minimal prawns and mushrooms, lacking substance. The prawn toasts and spring rolls were extremely small, almost laughable in size. While the main courses were tasty, the portions were so small that we were left hungry afterwards. Overall, we found the food to be very poor value for money. Although there were no issues with the Deliveroo delivery service, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again."

"For our dinner, we both decided to try the special dishes on the menu. I chose the tamarind duck with a side of sticky rice. I remembered having duck at a market during lunchtime before. The duck tasted delicious, especially when cooked with tamarind, which gave it a warm flavor. The dish was served with a twist of red and green peppers, all covered in a sauce with a unique name, "gai yang som tum khao niew." I would recommend asking for the dish by name if you want to try it. It is a typical regional Thai dish consisting of grilled chicken and papaya salad served with sticky rice."

"Extremely horrible customer service. I ordered through their website to collect from Grays Inn, for which I received an e-mail confirming the order and pick-up location. Once I arrived to the place, I was told they had not received my order. I called the phone...number in the e-mail to be told that they only offer collection from their Marylebone branch, despite their website allowing me to choose Grays Inn, and that I had to go all the way to collect it from there. After rejecting walking for another hour, they told me to ask the Grays Inn branch to call them. The staff at Grays Inn did not manage to contact them in minutes although it took me only another minute to do so from my phone and put them in touch through my personal cell phone. When I finally got the order from the Grays Inn branch where I had been waiting for already minutes, the employee told me they were doing me a favor only for this time, as if it was my fault that their website sells services they can't fulfil! Unbelievable! When I thought nothing else could go wrong, I got home to open my package and discover they hadn't added a single sachet of soy sauce. Overall, terrible experience with even worse customer service. Last time I order from them."

"We enjoyed mixed starters, 2 mains and rice at this restaurant. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. The mixed starters were a little different from most Thai restaurants that we've been to (less formulaic) which was a welcome variation. It would have been nicer still if there had been a side order of vegetables available on the menu. The restaurant was busy and we were unfortunate to sit near to two noisy characters which affected our enjoyment of the meal (not the staff's fault though) . The place is well located, just off Trafalgar Square. For a central London restaurant, the price was reasonable."

"Unfortunately, I will no longer be ordering from Pandan Leaf as the prices on Deliveroo have become exorbitant. To have a small meal delivered for two people now costs £40, and the portions are not worth the price. The serving of rice for £4 was especially stingy, barely enough for one person, let alone two. Although I have been ordering from this restaurant for 8 years, the recent takeaways will be my last due to the lack of satisfaction and value for money. I understand that Deliveroo charges high fees to restaurants, but in this case, providing free prawn crackers for orders over £30 or offering more generous portions of rice would be a good solution."

"This place is AMAZING. Such a hidden gem. In two minds about reviewing because I don't want this place to get too popular and then we can't just rock up and get a table... We went last week for a Saturday lunch to treat ourselves and felt super safe and spaced out from the others. It was a rainy day so it wasn't busy which was ideal for us! We ordered lots of different things including the vegetable tempura, spring rolls, veggie gyoza, vegan tofu lunch bowl special, and duck pancakes. I'm vegan but my husband isn't and my veggie food was incredible literally the best veg tempura I've ever eaten and I have tried that dish from every restaurant imaginable, so it's the highest of compliments. Their smoothie was delicious and my husband enjoyed the floral tea he ordered I can't wait to come back with my friends!! The service was lovely, the value for money even better and my mouth is watering just thinking about the food I had there. Thanks so much Itto <3"

"The salmon teriyaki was perfectly fine, the £14.50 price point for a bento box is okay too. But I find the meal underwhelming. Certain details that are quintessential to Japanese food just wasn’t there. There was no sauce to accompany the lettuce for example, or that I had to ask for wasabi as it wasn’t served with the bento box, even though they put a couple of maki rolls in there. "We visited Koto Restaurant on North Parade for Sunday lunch for the first time, and we wish we had tried it sooner. The ramen broth was incredibly delicious, with a gentleman next to us remarking that it tasted just like what he had in Japan. The menu was straightforward and easy to order from, with both the broth and noodles being homemade and preservative-free. The food was healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only downside was that they do not take reservations, so there may be a wait. Overall, I would rate the food at Koto Restaurant as some of the best in Oxford."

"Mediocrity. It 's not as bad as it seems when it comes to sushi in London. Just had Tokiya Sushi and have to say: why are resturants so cheap with their fish when making maki here? All I 'm asking for is equal parts fish/veggie to rice, not even more fish than rice like I 'd find in the US but this seems like a difficult enough ask. On the upside, their sushi is yum yum yummie, and pretty cheap, affordable by all who have about 10-15 quid to spend on a dinner, but maki, although good, has such a small amount of the fish you order in it, it doesn 't even make sense to order them over the sushi unless you really don 't like fish. Not so good point #2 My dinner-mate got a sushi regular which was 6 pieces of sushi and 5 pieces of maki. What they didn 't state was that maki means the cheapest thing possible which turned out to be a cucumber roll with not even a bit of fish in the roll in sight. Obviously if people are ordering a sushi plate, they aren 't vegetarians and generally will expect SOME fish in their maki! End diagnosis, would order take away from (i forgot to mention there is a 10 pound per person rule even though most of their entrees are under 10 pounds and oh yeah it DOESN 'T include drinks) especially the sushi, but don 't go by the photo here, you are lucky if the maki comes with half that much filling, albeit they are still tasty if unsatisfactory. sushi pretty good, maki order take away from Tsunami just down the other way."

"I lived in london in the late 80s and there were only 2 sushi bars in the city, one in the Mitsukoshi business and the other, a small but expensive in covent gardens. the brides have eaten nothing that looked like it might have been alive in these days! there were rarely any boobs in each restaurant, but how the dings have changed. at my first night in london in many years I was happy to find her me sushi a short walk from my hotel. I was dressed by the various poke dishes on the menu, but her sashimi looked even better and spent a few weeks in hawaii, I decided for the sashimi. it was totally keto friendly and delicious! I was suspicious because it was packed and was ready to go, but I ate. the maguro and lieb (salmon) was first quality and a well dimensioned part. there was only enough salat with seaweed and soy/caster/adventure to make a perfect and efficient evening meal. I will return during my 10-day stay. the personal was friendly and attentive. I spent as much as $300 per head at the likes of Kabuto-edomae sushi in las vegas and orlando, you me sushi was a really pleasant experience, cost effective and would also be a fantastic take away. but wait. there is more! her miso soup was first class!"

"Wonderful food as always, with finest ingredients immaculately prepared and served by Jenice and the team. Japanese is never cheap but at least with Suhinoen you can taste the quality and value. Would and regularly do recommend for lunch or dinner and no one is ever disappointed and it usually becomes a favourite of theirs too. "Very pleasant atmosphere starter perfect but the Main was terrible. Potatoes where very chewy as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp. My meat was way too rare a choice as to how I would of liked it would of been better. In all we had 2 mains which on each plate was meat potatoes Yorkshire and greens still left which In my opinion sums up the main courses. "Excellent food but a curious staff attitude. Reserved a table on “Open Table” and arrived to a cold lifeless reception. The restaurant was not full but we were shown to an awkward table between the main traffic flow and a table of six guys in dirty work attire, thanks but no thanks we will have that nice romantic big table over there… much better! Do staff not think what does the customer want? Who wants to sit there? Good food well presented and tasty. Decent wine list. All hand sanitisers were empty and dirty. The toilets need a damn good cleaning. The whole place needs a revamp, poor lighting, no background music and it feels like a school dining room with pictures. We would return but only if no where else was available, previous reviews are much too generous in their comments and lack any critical review. We rated it 5/10, could do much better and be much happier."
