"As a family of 4 we had a 3 course meal each and it was simply amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the beef stroganoff was so rich and tastful and the carbonara was demolished in 5 minutes. We also had the garlic mushrooms to start, the parma ham dish and the mozzarella which was so good. We decided to have 4 of the desserts so we could all try it...the salted caramel cheesecake, limencello ice cream, chocolate fudge cake and the chocolate profiteroles.... We're just gutted we live 2.5hrs away. The service was amazing and the food was on point!"

"Very friendly staff. Resturant was very busy, as requested got table by the window and loved my lobster. During dinner two staff member came to my table and asked if I need anything else and everything is ok, that was wounderful. Love to go places where feel valued and cared. Will definitely go back. "Missing AND incorrect items rude staff; I ordered through Just Eat, and we were missing a naan and was given onion rice instead of garlic rice- the rice even had ‘On Rice’ written on, and I tried it to be sure- I called up and the man was very dismissive, told me he cooked my garlic rice and was obviously put in the wrong box, I then said I’d tried it and it didn’t taste of garlic to which he mocked me and said ‘garlic rice doesn’t taste garlicky?’ And was very resistant to correcting the errors. So rude and I won’t be using again. They certainly are no more than 3 stars and I wish I’d checked trip adviser before as it seems to be a common theme! The man on the phone also told me to keep the wrong rice and he’ll bring me a new one- the same man who is apparently not only the food cooker, phone answerer AND delivery driver then asked that I give him the incorrect rice when he got to my door- which was near enough untouched. Shocking customer service. Avoid at all cost."

"to whom this may concern.... me and my husband booked a table on 5th jan at 22.30 for our anniversary expecting that we would have a 3 course meal. we even got there earlier to have a drink in your bar, so when we turned up a waiter finally came over to tell us that we wouldnt get served, after asking why and getting no explaination he gets a manager to talk to us to tell us we r only entitaled to a main meal, i dont get why you would take a booking at that time if your not willing to serve, theres so many lovely restaurants in beckenham and we thought we would try yours, wished we hadnt have wasted our time now, the service is discusting, and i certainly will not be recommending you to anyone. your sincerley victoria lotay"

"Located in a hidden corner of Saltcoats in Ayrshire, this restaurant may not catch your eye from the outside, but the interior is clean and welcoming. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food is delicious. We ordered a Nepalese starter, a traditional lamb and potato dish, and a chicken curry with ginger for our main course, accompanied by rice and a generous garlic naan bread. The service was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area."

"The next day, my husband and I returned to the restaurant and enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee in the sunshine after our meal. The indoor seating was a welcome relief from the heat and was refreshing. I look forward to returning to this restaurant. Although I didn't catch their names, I interacted with 5 employees who were nothing like what some negative reviews have described. I traveled 15 miles to dine here when asked where I wanted to go for my birthday, which speaks volumes about the quality of this establishment. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience."

"We booked a KGB Deal at the Kimberley Hotel (the room was fantastic by the way and decided to give the Bistro a try as we didn't arrived at the hotel until late afternoon and the deal came with a free bottle of wine if we ate there. We booked for 19.30 and arrived on time. We ordered a glass of beer/lager each while we were chosing, it took over 20mins to arrive. The bottle of wine we wanted was no longer in stock but were offered what was left in an opened bottle (thanks, but no thanks! . The starters finally arrived and were really good. For mains, I ordered fish and chips, expecting something special the batter was pale and unappetizing, the chips looked crisp but oozed clear fat when you touched them with a knife. My husband said the same about his chips and also left them on his plate. We asked for the sweet menu, twice. We didn't bother with coffee, it was then 22.00. Two and a half hours! We didn't have time for a walk into Harrogate as we'd planned. The staff were nice enough but seemed to lack training and leadership."

"Visited again . We were 6 celebrating our grandson’s 9 th birthday. The food was fantastic. We had starters like fried calamari bourata and garlic bread. All were tasty.For mains we had spaghetti bolognese and seafood spaghetti as well as spaghetti carbonara. All were fantastic.so was the tiramisu and thr chocolate cake with icecream. "I visited this restaurant on Monday. The two front line staff members were fantastic – not pushy, but very attentive. I was meeting a friend that I hadn't seen in a few months, so we didn't immediately look at the menu. Despite this, they politely asked if we were ready to order and understood when we needed more time. The service was excellent when we did order, and we had a very enjoyable evening. Hats off to all the staff for a job well done."

"We have stayed at the Kimberley hotel several times but I was not as impressed this time with the food. Our booking deal included a 2 course meal on the first night. My husband chose battered cod and I had the filleted fish. The battered fish was served lying on top of the chips which had been arranged in a row. He found the batter quite oily/greasy which he did not eat but consequently that had left the chips underneath soggy. My fish was nicely cooked. I was also upset to see that several of the courses had a supplement and therefore not offered in the choices unless an extra cost was incurred which further limited the already limited menu. The wine was also very pricey. I felt the £49 for 2 people sounded a good deal which included a bottle of house wine although the house wine was not advertised as an option to purchase. We chose not to eat in the restaurant on the second night"

"Just enjoyed my first visit to Cardamon. I arrived at 19:30 on Monday 4th and there was only one other table occupied which was a bit of a surprise. The menu was presented smartly and showed a wide variety of interesting sounding dishes which were well explained. I chose the Meat Bilate Mirchi (stuffed pepper) and on the advice of the host the Staff Curry with Pilau rice. Both courses arrived very promptly and were very well presented. Both were highly flavoursome and would rank near the very top of all of the Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurants that I have visited over many many years. The service was very good without being too intrusive. The total bill came to just over £30 for the above mentioned dishes (but no sides) and one pint of Cobra which in my opinion is very good value for money given the outstanding quality of the food. All in all a very good meal and I will certainly visit again when staying in the Warrington Runcorn area."

"As for the food, I've been ordering the black buzzing chicken with fried rice for the past 2-3 years, and it’s always delicious! The portion sizes are generous, so I usually can’t finish it in one sitting, which gives me leftovers for later. The vegetarian spring rolls are decent, but I prefer the unrolled version. I also enjoy their crispy aromatic duck from time to time. They often run promotions on Deliveroo, like offering free Aperol cocktail sets (which was a thing back in 2021) along with complimentary beer, desserts, soft drinks, and more. I’ll be happy to update my review to a 5/5 once the hygiene inspection is completed!"

"Our server, Mark, was exceptional. Every time I thought 'I might want.. ' he was there in front of us. Definately questioning telepathy. It reminded me of the service I got when I went to a michelin star, honestly. Very attentive and unintrusive. Only lost one star for the size of the vegetarian option and cost I think we forget that veggies are substantially less filling than meat. The portion was already small, but in comparison with my friend 's meat option, priced about the same, it was quite sad. I was still hungry after the £18 ! Aubergine Gratin. I imagine portion size is a pretty quick fix for this place, so I really hope they just listen and make it bigger. I would come semi regularly if they did, I probably would not come again at all if they didn 't."

"Fantastic meal my beef wellington was the best I have ever had. The ribs,skate and linguine were all brilliant Unfortunately we were seated in the back of the restaurant in a booth with now windows and no view of the restaurant We were left by the staff having to in three occasions go to the bay for service We even had to wait 15 minutes for someone to ask us if we required dessert even though the restaurant was pretty empty by now Shame about the service"
