"Upon arrival we were told to get drinks at the bar as the table wasn’t ready, however we sat at the bar for 10 minutes and nobody offered us drinks. Our table then became ready. Our waitress was very dismissive of our table of 8 for dinner on Saturday evening. We waited a long time for drinks, which is understandable as they were busy, but when ordering extras it was as if we weren’t allowed. Food was good, no complaints apart from one of our pizzas was “dropped” so brought to the table much later. We understand that accidents happen. When it came to clearing the table, we waited over 45 minutes after finishing eating for plates to be cleared, at which point we asked for the bill. We had earlier in the evening told the waitress that we were finished expecting her to clear, but she didn’t. Our starter plates were still on the table!! The bill came with a £30+ service charge which we chose not to pay. When the waitress found out we weren’t paying this, she seemed very unimpressed and walked off in a foul mood. We then saw her discussing our table with her colleagues. Not good service and definitely not worth the service charge on the bill. We left… plates still at the table! I would recommend the restaurant for the food aspect, but not for good or friendly service!"

"Well what can I say about this place, I'll start by saying the food was very nice but the rest of the service was lacking. Tried to use meerkat meals 241 offer my advice would be don't bother attempting. Rang twice to book as advised...on the app and was told to ring back the 1st time and no name taken the 2nd time? Anyway back to the visit....outside its stated on a board 241 cocktails all day every day apart from Friday Saturday evenings. Being Wednesday evening we was told that they didn't do cocktails only sangria so that's what we had. When we asked about the meerkat meal offer we was told 241 on starters, mains and deserts (standard) when attempting to order we was then told we had to have the same item for starters, mains etc. We wanted tapas not the same meal what is the point of that! We then asked for other choices of menus i.e. the main menu we had seen online we were given the all you can eat menu ÂŁ14.95 and lunch menu that was served after 5pm??? Random??? After 20+mins we just opted for the easiest option of the all you can eat because it was getting very confusing to say the least! There was only us in the place may I add. A couple who came in after us tried to use a taste card with no joy either. Main point for the waiter which I will call shambles' is know you offers at least, if your not going to honour discounts such as meerkat meals taste card don't be on their sites and there is definitely a reason why you place is empty. If you want everyone to eat from the all you can eat menu then just offer that. Seems like shambles' was on commission for bamboozling people into this menu and also selling sangria. What happened to the cocktails on the menu??? Anyway good luck if you visit"

"Firstly I was not given a clean menu (provided to every guest), I was simply sat at the table and the big dude who showed me to my table did not explain that it's a QR code menu (where you take a picture of the code, and get the menu on your Smart Phone). I arrived before my friend, and not once was I asked if I wanted to order a drink first, even when I waved for the waitress's attention she just nodded her head but didn't come over until minutes later. One waitress did not understand much English, my friend had to ask for ice twice which we didn't get, and on the third asking the waitress apologised for not understanding. The big dude who I suspect is the boss manager wasn't pleasant when we were deciding which bottle of wine to settle for, we of course wanted to taste first which he obviously didn't like, and even said the more you taste, the less you will be able to taste the flavour' however, we had only tested different wines at that point so personally I felt he was rude. This was a lockdown ease dinner which we were really looking forward to however, felt that it wasn't a hygienic experience. Our temperatures were not taken before entry (like other restaurants do), there was no hand sanitiser either upon entry or at the table, not even in the toilet (note that there is only ladies toilet which was blocked, but customers were still allowed to use it), tables were wiped down between each seating but not the chairs, aircon was not great, or even on for most of the evening, we were sat upstairs next to the Gents outside staircase, and could constantly smell cigarette smoke. I felt grubby by the end of the meal, on top of all of that the head waitress decided to put a tip on top of the bill without us realising,I said to divide the bill equally-she rounded it up before dividing so made tip from each of us (which isn't much but that is not the point), I thought it was cheeky, but only realised when I looked at the receipt properly."
