"Fantastic meal tonight! Good fast service and a wide range of both food and drink offerings. Food was utterly delicious! Hake supreme cooked beautifully with great flavour deserves a particular mention but all dishes really well flavoured and executed. Only 4 starts because I really missed the table service… the food is sensational, it’s just a shame to miss the personal touch of a waiter or waitress. Thank you for a lovely evening"

"I ordered the meal deal for two people from Manor Plaice. The food was delivered on time and the staff were friendly when I placed my order. The fish was perfectly cooked and the battered mushrooms were also delicious. Everything was piping hot as well. The portion sizes were generous and I cannot fault anything. Well done Manor Plaice!"

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The lady who welcomed us was extremely friendly (I wish I had remembered her name). We have a couple of allergies, and she was very helpful in accommodating them. My husband and children enjoyed the carvery, while my mother and I opted for curry with naan and rice. The carvery was very good, with the server being clear and thorough in addressing our allergies and very friendly with my daughter. The curries were amazing. I had the butter milk chicken, which I believe was one of the best curries I have had in a long time. The naan was fresh and clearly homemade. We will definitely be returning to try more of their curries. Thank you so much for a great experience!"

"we order from here weekly. the same is the week in the week as we like what we order. every single week there is something. last week for example no bbq sauce on the chicken and today at night pizza and garlic bread over boiled and a piece. I always say on my order to make sure that the pizzas are not overcooked (kids will not eat them otherwise). on my last order tonight I asked the bbq sauce to actually come with the meal as it should. it came absolutely incubated, until the point where I could not eat it. looks like they have done the exact opposite for purpose! I'm sorry, papa dinos, that they will lose by us for a month!"

"came in around 5pm as table for 2. staff not fully trained on how to deal with the covid track and trace regards checking in or taking details.was made to wait 15 minutes to wait for 4 bottles of beer even though we were the only poeple in there! on entering, plenty of staff sitting eating there staff food on the tables having there social time. i was told off by this very young man who I think was supposed to be some kind of manager.... its very simple sir, you had the drinks order get them to the table so we have something to drink instead of making us wait a stupid amount of time for you to simply put olives out on a plate! check the cctv if you dont agree! wednesday 7th only customers in!! as it got later, more tables around us, particluarly couples who were waiting for drinks also.I will never come back again, and thats for all the outlets if you employ low trained kids who dont have the passion for service, you will keep losing money.once we did get our food, the lady waitress was nice and did a sufficient job.all in all, not good! and plenty more on the doorstep."

"I live two blocks on the road so that this place is convenient for me. Usually they take about twenty minutes, but sometimes more, depending on the time. lately the chips were in the last two weeks on the standard of burger king. but before that the chips were very bad; for example very soggy. I hope they keep the standard of their chips they have now. my usual commands were variations of kebab (never thunder in pitta brot) because they tend to taste the best and they are healthy. I am a chess player and go for a national master title (i.e. semi-pro), so I decide for a healthier option. I hope the shop keeps a high standard!"

"I ordered through Uber Eats and waited over 3 hours for my food to arrive. Each time I called to check on my order, I was given false information, such as the driver being on its way or the food still being in the oven due to the restaurant being busy. The constant lies made it impossible to trust the restaurant. It would be faster to travel to Italy and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine than to rely on this restaurant for a quick meal."

Feels great heading to city centre, when normal life slowly resumes back, you can’t miss Pepe’s under new management, it is surprisingly better than ever in hear of city centre. Very helpful staffs and order was quick too. The chicken is rather succulent, I would recommend anyone that knows about their chicken To pay a visit to this establishment. The chicken is fabulous I personally would recommend the wings and half chicken with hot sauce. Kids enjoyed their meals, to Overall the food is amazing we had a great dinner off late. "Went there after a day at the pier ordered the food and started to wait as all the other people were doing it was busy the sitting area was dirty bins over flowing and rubbish every where as it looked they were running the place with less staff found a table to sit after 15 minutes with people leaving 70% of food un eaten.Requested the lady on the till three times before some one came and took the rubbish off our table and pile it on top of the bin. waited there 30 minutes my order number was 88 and people to number 94 were given food before me the griller made my chicken and gave to the other guy who put it under the light and 5 minutes after that started frying the patty for the burger after about 10 minutes I received my order and I told the lady that it is sitting there for 15 minutes and its cold she apologised and said she will refund it as they are short on labour and have no more chicken left or chilli sauce at around 9:40 pm even though the closing time was 11:00pm. I went to the card till and there came the owner YOUSIF asked me again what happened and checked the chicken and instead of apologising for ruining my kids dinner leaving them waiting for 45 minutes and still no food he told me I will refund but the chicken is fine for him and if I like to eat hot food I should go to ROOSTERS PERI PERI as this is his shop and he will run it as he wishes. yousif was wearing vest and shorts with all his body hair on display he should not even be allowed in the kitchen but he was fully involved in the kitchen with no regard for hygiene or health and safety. This place is an hygiene and health and safety hazard and should be avoided at all costs. Never going back."
