"The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic! The quality of the food was excellent and it was presented in compostable packaging, which I appreciate because I hate polystyrene. We shared one big breakfast between the two of us and it was delicious. Even our small dog, Mr. Bruiser, enjoyed some sausages. The only downside was the price of Sanpellegrino at £2.50 a can, which seemed a bit steep. Despite that, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more dishes. I give it a 4 out of 5 rating. Communication with the staff was also excellent."

"Our experience at Papa's Wok was very positive. We appreciated the variety of meat and vegetarian options available. The veg spring rolls we ordered were tasty and we received an extra one, which was a nice surprise. The chicken dish we tried was delicious, with the chicken tooan standing out for its flavor compared to the dragon chicken. The gobi manchurian and stirring vegetables were both well-seasoned and enjoyable. We also tried the sweet and chili and garlic rice, both of which came in a box. The chili and garlic rice was tasty but not as spicy as expected. However, the plant noodles were disappointing as they lacked flavor and were quite bland. The portion sizes of the big box were generous and we were impressed by the amount of food. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Papa's Wok and would definitely order from them again."

We dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be between £10-20. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 rating. "Have visited here a few rare occasions when dinning out food is what you would expect in a pub/restaurant though depending on your choice you can see the effort applied to presentation giving you the idea of it being restaurant rather than pub. The HILL can be a busy venue and does offer reservation if your looking to dine out over weekend. Also advise calling ahead if you are going mid week. I have visited when it's busy without calling ahead and lucky enough to be seated within 5 min and ordering food soon after. Service is 100% Staff are friendly, always smile, (although being in west end like most places the staffing can change due to students being employed part time while at uni. They are always chosen well by manager) 100% Cleanliness 100% Appearance 100% 4 stars instead of 5 this is only because on my 1st visit to dine at no fault of the HILL. I was feeling surrounded by the loudness of and over crowded by the pub image. But It isn't a restaurant only so expect it to be louder on busier nights. I could have gone else where on this occasion but chose to stay and have food and I wasn't put off."

"very pleasant lunch in the brasserie with some friends. we had octopus, goat cheese salad and caprese salat as appetizers. all delicious and very beautiful presented. as if I had fish and chips since I hadn't had it for ever. great choice, very well cooked as I like it. also the team was so courteous that there was no problem to frying **** to garden bears and thick cut chips. all well recommended."

"Locally sourced delicious home cooked food. Cosy and comfortable especially the bench seats. Menu is based on an original different twist on the traditionsl burger. The handcut chips (with or without crispy bacon , freshly made coleslaw and the house salad inc sundried tomatoes are not to be missed. Care has been taken to include every dietry requirement including vegan and vegetarian. Recommend the beetroot pattie, pickle sorbet (try it first! , the cheese cake and the Heffer double burger with cheese and onion marmalade. Plus a scrummy Maitai cocktail (amongst others .
