"Generally lacking in ambience; landlady unsmiling. Decor drab grey, poor lighting. Tables need flowers or candles. No bread offered, had to ask. Service slow,even though only three tables occupied. A diner on next table said hats off to the chef, he/she has managed to cook a Sunday lunch and removed all the taste . We agree. Vegetables clearly came from freezer, at a time when the whole country is knee deep in wonderful fresh produce! Gravy, a sort of orange colour, was packet, no use of meat juices to add flavour. Overall, a sad little pub appearing to be a bit tired with staff going through the motions. Not sure why they 've added the phrase 'wine bar ', which it really isn 't!"

"The price is too high for the portion of meat . I have been today,6 May .The tea was not good :hot water with 3 leaves ,only for me 8,50 pound.Service charge mandatory for them of 15%. I not suggest it. Non lo consiglio :scarso rapporto qualità /prezzo. Serve per prima a tavolo chi spende di più Abbiamo preso tre secondi da 15 pound un antipasto da 7 e un te da 8,50. Circa 80 euro."

"Went there this weekend with my family. We ordered all of the sushi and most of the starters and tempura. The hot food was tasty tempura was light and delicious. However, the sushi was a big let down. Having grown up in Tokyo and eaten sushi all around the world I know when sushi is freshly made vs been in the fridge. Although the flavours were nice (disappointingly the jalapeños were not spicy at all) the rice was cold and dense. The food came out within a couple of minutes of ordering it. Clearly pre made, kept aside and waiting to be served probably as part of the set menus. About 10 minutes after the bulk of it was served our final plate of sushi came out which was clearly fresh (not cold or dense). This was disappointing to say the least. Sushi should always be freshly made to order. If it wasn’t in the fridge the rice needs to be prepared better. We will be back for the hot food only! The lemon cheesecake and mango sorbet were delicious too."

"Went for a late lunch on Saturday so was happy that they were still serving lunch at 3pm. Very welcoming staff and atmosphere, with classical music in the background. Place was clean but, although it wasn't busy, I was surprised that staff were not wearing masks. Main dishes were at £13.95 and the portions were of reasonable size, big enough I took half home with me. I had the mushroom stew with pasta and sour cream on the side, the dish was very tasty, even the pasta I normally don't order pasta when eating out as it's so easy to make at home. Would highly recommend and would go back when I get the chance."

"The Kurdish food here is incredible and authentic, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely worth the effort to locate the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, especially since it's BYO! I really enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it!"
