"We treated ourselves and went for an impromptu dinner at Cafe Wolsey. The best thing is the service possibly the best I've experienced in Oxfordshire in 10 years living here. Very stylish, very helpful, and just the right amount of personal interaction. The menu is full of their standards: Eggs Benedict, burgers, mac'n'cheese. Lots of favourites. All we had was good for what it was, but nothing exceptional on the plates. The price however is really too high for this kind of food."

"We go to TW every couple of months and it is a fantastic place. The service and food is always top quality and the staff are without exception extremely friendly and professional. This time was the first time I had the roast and if anything it could have done with more veg. It only came with 3 roast pots, carrots, parsnip and Yorkshire pud. Other tables seemed to have extra veg but not sure if you had to pay extra for that. For £15, I would expect more on the plate. That said, the food that was on the plate was first class"

"We enjoyed an excellent lunch today with the roast beef and lamb main courses being outstandingly good, both served with al dente vegetables. The sirloin was beautifully cooked, both medium rare and well done to our requests and the pressed lamb was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding and coffees rounded off a lovely lunch. It is worth noting that our seven year old granddaughter chose the roast beef and the sticky toffee and I noted that the restaurant made a very reasonable one off charge for both courses. Restaurants that do that need to be celebrated for excellent customer service. The quality of service and friendliness of the staff today is to be commended and we will certainly return soon."
