"Food good, no choice, tasting menu only, but tasty. Room dreary dark and lacking atmosphere. Over priced all in all. Toilets an absolute disgrace and the face mask police unnecessary as you walk to from loo. First and last visit, polite head waiter, rest zero personality. Hard times for restaurants and out to support, but, Thompson try harder please. Did complain about loos and over zealous beardy waiter doing the mask security, but, as expected no real apology or action. Still filthy as we left later."

"this must be considered one of the best meal times. we had lunch. very well greeted at the reception and led to the 28th etage. again well greeted and taken to the table. the service was impeccable, never hastened, and never compel supplements on us. we went for the 3 course set menu and was not disappointed by any cure. to say I had the bark starter, pollen main and lemon cake and my partner rindfleisch huhn and soufflé gives no real reflection of the quality and attention to detail of what was an excellent meal. please look at the photos. we added the pomme pure (mashkartoffeln to us northerly) and wow can't say that I'm the better, so smooth and buttery. the work that someone put in them should not be underestimated, really amazing as well I had to eat the go, even the partners left or I should have asked for a doggy back to take them home. I can only thank the whole team for a truly unforgettable experience from the atmosphere, the service and the quality of the food."

"Apparently the Newcastle Arms, the previous name of this pub (which is still prominently carved in stone on its facade you 're not in the wrong place) was a bit of a rough lager focused venue which serves to underline what a great offering they now have. Lots of cask lines I think they had three stouts on including an espresso martini one which was really excellent. Also I tried a 'chai der ' a spicy cider that was a real treat so cool to try something totally different that I 've never seen anywhere else. Music was loud on a Friday night but didn 't rule out conversation and we also got a space to seat (there is an upstairs too). It 's great if you want somewhere with a little more energy. My only criticism was the lack of a helpful blackboard or other sign on the wall giving basic info about the beers so helpful to know name/brewery/style/alcohol content/price when there 's a long line of pumps that will inevitably be at least partially blocked by other punters."

"We visited for a second time as our first was fabulous. Unfortunately the food was not as good this time. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with chips, the steak was ok but the chips were bog standard manufactured whereas before were lovely chunky triple cooked hand cut. My friend and I had the lamb curry which was so salty and the rice was very dry. There was quite a gap between first and main courses so I asked if there was a problem to be told they were just busy. We were however offered a half pint of beer each which I thought was acceptable. It's a shame as we recommended it to our friends who we went with. The pub itself is lovely with great outside space and a terrace. I would drink there as they have a great range of beers but not sure if I would eat again"
