We love it at 10 Castle Street. Such a beautiful building, bar area, lounges, friendly staff.

Excellent venue. Outstanding food but a little glheavy on the pricing. More London prices than Cranborne.

The food was excellent but the serving staff were inexperienced and not welcoming. Also for a venue of that quality we did not like being referred to as You Guys and left to make our own way out of the restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our visit but it could have been special with a little more staff training.

The restaurant is housed in a stunning building with a gorgeous garden, luxurious and slightly extravagant decor, and an exclusive, intimate, and slightly playful atmosphere. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and proactive. Even on a quiet, rainy November afternoon, the fires were lit and the hospitality was sincere. Elegant and classy.

We had an amazing Sunday night dinner at 10 Castle Street. The setting was incredibly beautiful, and the food was exceptional! It was a peaceful evening, as expected on a dark and rainy Sunday in January, but that allowed us to receive extra care from the welcoming staff. Two of us ordered the traditional Roast Beef while the other two opted for some of the more distinctive dishes on the menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! As we live nearby we have eaten there before but were a bit disappointed by Xmas lunch. I had booked the meal on the basis of the set Xmas lunch as advertised in their Xmas brochure. When there we were given a different menu to choose from when I queried why it was different I was told that I should have specified when booking that We wanted the Xmas set menu but it does not say that on their brochure which I still have Most of the meals we actually had were ok but a lot was food which I personally don't eat so ended up with soup a poor club sandwich nice dessert though! The staff were nice though.

We had made a reservation for an early dinner at 5pm, but accidentally ended up at an afternoon tea service. Although the reservation did not specify this, I also failed to check the menu beforehand. The staff were incredibly helpful and offered to make a reservation at another nearby restaurant or have us wait until 7pm for dinner. We chose to wait, and they kindly offered us a complimentary drink while we waited in their beautiful room next to the fireplace. Our visit to 10 Castle Street for a special Christmas Eve lunch with my elderly mother and other family members exceeded our expectations. Despite initial concerns raised by negative TripAdvisor reviews (which only reinforced our belief that not everyone should be writing reviews), we had a wonderful time. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive, with Dean in particular standing out for his charm and care towards my mother. Although the food service was a tad slow, we didn't mind as we were engrossed in conversation and enjoyed the charming Country Life ambience of the beautifully renovated country house.
