"think about East London and eat and there are a few places that are likely to be early to the chicken shops along the mile end road, the curry houses in brick lane, the Turkish caffes of stoke newington. burger joints are just strict and if they like a vietnamesen, they only have to drive to kingsland road. the time when they were on the market for something else, they would have to fall asleep at least in central but the constant regeneration of everything that is east of the city, means that it is more in front of the house door than the eye meets. I heard whispering about 8 hoxton square. of the people behind the 10 Greek road that recently opened their doors in one of the most popular places of shoreditch. jammed into the wide side of the square, they find its inconspicuous façade that is bundled between hoxton bar grill and ziegfried by underbelly, and while not giving much away, they will be very satisfied that they have entered the inner. we went to dinner at about 9 o'clock before we were inevitably turned away at the door. While we were sniffing around somewhere else, the very friendly front of the house had failed to tell us that there was a cancellation and would we like to come in? yes, we would. at a table for four sitting (each with our own numbered chair), we felt immediately in good business; there is a long table to share and enjoy rooms of bar when they feel particularly smart. while scrubbing the cocktail menu, fresh brot with beautiful olive oil was brought to immerse in the table. of course I almost ate this before we ordered our first bramble, rhubarb grapefruit martini and alcoholic lemonade. at the beginning we split olives and the roasted goat cheese with granat apple, asparagus and mint, which was perfectly salty, creamy, fresh and crispy all in one bite. the choice of the netzen proved to be difficult, so we had to order a bottle prosecco (a steal at £21 a bottle). the tormented menu changes daily and we would have ordered everything from it. instead we decided for the prawns, chorizo and saffron aioli (pronounced tasty); medium sponge, comminuted new potatoes, mint and spring green (melt in mouth) and bream with beetroot, courgettes, monk’s bart and green olive grove (again, a perfect combination of sweet, salty, tender and crisp). we could not manage this dessert, despite the enticing it was, so opened a bottle of cabernet merlot (although the valpolicella we tried, was also very good) and chatted to the friendly waitress. the personal here really care and are more than happy to chat, they explain an ingredient and offer a recommendation for them. They can. a crazy youngest discovery, but I'm very glad I made it. 8 hoxton the place is now on my five top places in the city that I could eat every day and tell everyone I should do the same. will I have gone back? 100% this east london has a fixed five out of five."

excellent eating, a good selection of wines through the glass. this is a great fund in london, a total winner in its price category.

What is tiny and often dirty, but still considered a Shoreditch Shade? Hoxton Square. One of the only green, uh, expanses available...

Firstly as it is Hoxton Square so should already know to expect some element East London hipster vibe that said this place felt more down to earth although I can only comment on the mid morning crowd! Mix a good Manhattan and good attentive service

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is not to blame for this. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment, and caution you to keep a close eye on your bags and wallets. We were robbed while waiting for our food, which never came.

simply overwhelming, in a very submissive venue. that is the new child in the city on the hoxton square, and it makes quite touching, and with good ground. the portions are generous, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, and the quality that goes far beyond the opposite. chips are great.

The staff at this restaurant were friendly and attentive. However, the starters, including bolognese arancini balls and breaded chicken dippers, were just okay. The pizzas, on the other hand, were quite good. The selection of alcoholic drinks was very limited, with only a few options available. The location of the restaurant has great potential. If they work on improving or removing the starters, focus on their strengths like pizzas, and offer a better variety of drinks, they could become a top choice for diners.
