"In the last week I've been to a well known American bar restaurant in Exeter and to Abys and in both places I've had a burger chips. At the American restaurant the meal was plentiful and very nice. At Abys the meal was absolutely fabulous. I had a beefburger with bacon and oodles of melted cheese, with onion rings, a little side salad with a dressing and the most gorgeous chunky but fried chips. Both Fluffy and Crispy at the same time. I will return for the same, many times. Absolutely marvellous. Oh, and the service was outstanding, as always. Nick"

Great place with a HUGE menu, buffet breakfast looked lush. A bit pricier than others, but you get what you pay for!!

I love this place! Not only is the coffee great and the pastries irresistible, but the staff are lovely and kind. My favourite place to do a spot of studying over a latte and a jewel bar!

Always delicious food whether it’s a full meal or a sausage bap and a cup of coffee. Very busy today but still got a table and was served our food promptly. Staff are all very friendly too. We must go to Aby’s more often!

Would I recommend Abys, and would I return? Absolutely! As a Scotsman who knows his fry-ups, I can confidently say it was an excellent choice. After the disappointment of a terrible meal at a local Mexican restaurant the night before (which I will definitely be addressing), it was such a pleasure to enjoy a perfect breakfast. Thank you again!

left exmouth today after a nice breakfast in aby’s. also took with us a piece of ham mushroom pizza disc they have begun to do. after over 3 hours on the road we had them lunch and they were lush. the last of the toppings and still damp so it can recommend. they also make veggie. can also recommend the cheese salad, smoked salmon salad, but forget to have the tapas shell, but there is always next time.

My partner and I had lunch at Aby's, and we were impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the calamari, which was incredibly tender—definitely a must-try for any seafood lover. My partner chose the cheeseburger, which was also excellent, featuring a high-quality cut of meat. The restaurant has an efficient bistro-style vibe with a wide variety of menu options. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We've been visiting Exmouth for years and have always dined at The Bath House. This time, I couldn't get a table there, so I walked along and discovered Aby's. What a wonderful surprise! The food was fantastic (the roast was enormous), and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The service was excellent, and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It was a delightful experience, and I will definitely return.

"We were having a short break in Exmouth and were so impressed with the food on the first night that we booked for the next night as well. The restaurant from the outside looks small and cosy, but don’t be put off if the tables...look full as there as other room, equally as cosy, deeper in the premises The menu is interesting with a good selection of dishes and I found it difficult to choose a dish, simply because there were several that took my fancy. My wife had Chicken Souvlaki which, unlike a lot of chicken dishes was not dry and very tasty. My Lamb Kleftico was well cooked so that it fell off of the bone and was delicately spiced with a rich sauce. It was juicy and tender melted in the mouth. The second night my partner had carrot and cheese souflee served with a rich tomato sauce, Mediterranean vegetables boulangere potatoes. This I am told was lovely with a great flavour. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, so often these are overdone but these had just the right amount of crunch left in them. Myself I had Moroccan Lamb Tagine. Having eaten this in Marrakesh I was a little dubious but I need not have worried. It was not as rustic as that served in Morocco, much more refined, but just as tasty and cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared a Summer Berry Bread Butter Pudding with mixed berries. It had a good contrast on sweet and slightly sharp berries that complimented each other. The service was good, efficient, and friendly. Where there was a question , the owner was always happy to answer and obviously took a great pride, and rightly so of her restaurant. If you get a chance this is a must try restaurant and I have no trouble recommending it."
