"I wouldn’t come back for afternoon tea here, I booked online to then get a call to say they didn’t open til an hour later so this gave me less time to spend with my mum for her birthday treat, the staff were pleasant it was clean however the food was less than average. Dry very basic sandwiches, was given a teapot of instant coffee that wasn’t ideal as kept going cold. Luckily I bought vouchers through my kids school at a discount, as full price head is an absolute rip off for what we had served. Wouldn’t recommend"

wow the vegatable vegan curry is amazeballs! I literally licked the plate clean. one of the best meal times that had ever recommended so much. the naan it comes with was niceties to taste exactly the same as a non vegan naan x

The staff were friendly, but wasn't overly impressed we felt a bit cheeky asking for our tea to be refilled, and probably wouldn't return.No bone china cups, which is always a nice touch, and sandwiches were lacking filling really, and still had crusts on

great place right at the sea near all the sights of southend, but unfortunately eating was really uninspiring and tasteless. I had the bohnburger and it came without a sauce and the riders were also completely unseasonal. the personal was very nice and there were at least some vegan options, but it was also very overpriced.
