excellent service made a fuss for my wife,s 60th birthday, there were 4 of us and it cost £88 for 1 sandwich each 1 scone each and some small cakes I found it a rip off

Having had the old Afternoon Tea menu I was looking forward to trying the new Afternoon Tea menu. Well we were left disappointed. The cakes were nice, the sandwiches were ok. Please bring back the old Afternoon Tea...better value for money. View menu

We came as colleagues from work to have afternoon tea and get together We all enjoyed the tea even one lady that had the vegetarian option The atmosphere was nice and seating very comfortable with great views Enjoyed our afternoon and would come again

I took my cousin out for her birthday, and as always, the food was amazing. However, this time the service was disappointing. We had to wait a while before we received the menu and could order drinks, and then we waited 45 minutes for our food. It's unfortunate because I’ve never experienced such delays here before.

I booked an afternoon tea for my friend's birthday, and it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. They even allowed us to take home any food we couldn't finish, which was a nice touch. I think it's a lovely treat and makes for a great gift. I will definitely return for another afternoon tea in the future! View menu

The food was good, and our seating was comfortable, but the service was quite cumbersome. We frequently had to ask for assistance, as we could never catch a waitress's eye. A few times, I attempted to get the attention of our server for things like more tea and cream or to settle the bill. When we decided not to pay the service fee, the waiter became somewhat rude. Overall, I’ve experienced better service elsewhere.

Not impressed on this occasion Waited too long for service and when we got home advised that our bill had been previously settled by our daughter via the telephone/card payment and we paid again. Not good service waited too long for the afternoon tea. Also when the person phoned to advise of double payment blamed it on new staff but this should have shown up on the computer that our bill had been previously paid when we asked for the bill our daughter paid for it as an Anniversary present.

English breakfast tee is in the grunde pg tips pyramid tee bag in a fantasy tea pot when we sat next to the kitchen and could see this with our own eyes, as my father in law pointed out what was a bit embarrassing as I had treated him and mine man and raised this place! £22 per head and they add a service fee, all they did was bring us a potte and a cake stand? the cakes were very sweet and a nice selection. to be honest after I paid the £72 bill, I felt a bit robbed and would have taken it to dinner for the same money I spent (lection learned). I was a little embarrassing, because they are not impressed at all by the afternoon tea experience I can add, they are not fussy people in general. View menu
