"booked 2 months in advance as a birthday contract marokko is one of our favorite places on the earth (because it visited 4 or 5 times between us), Moroccan cuisine absolutely up there as one of the best kitchen in the world. This restaurant had incredible...Overviews so that everything made sense. the dining room seemed pretty dirty and sterile not much in the way of soft furniture, wall decoration or other small extras to give a North African feeling, but everyone was very welcoming. starter (bastilla and Filo packages) were both incredibly blasphemy and almost tasteless, without the subtle aromen one would expect. the mains were as inspiring. a selection of vegetarian and seafood were all sufficient, but not very inspiring. the al fassia couscous (not served by a tagin, but gilded) was without asking the worst cousin pornstar I had ever had in a special restaurant that was as surprising as it was disappointing. while the vegetables should be slowly cooked and soft, they were boiled to a mosque. the Merguez sausages and (incredible) even the chicken had both parts that were hard and crusty similar when eating the morning in a microwave is heated too long. and the lamb was soft, but it was lacking in any taste. I left the whole court. the owner/manager kindly took off the cousin from the bill, but the evening was one of the great expectations and bitter disappointment."

had a takeaway and enjoyed the common cold starter of hummus, baba ganoush etc. but unfortunately the pitta brot Shop-Bought (to find your own is made with milk) was a scandal as to make a delicious flatbread without butter or milk. the veggie tagine and wide bean side were delicious. View menu

The food is amazing! So many different options. The flavour of all the dishes is fantastic. The lentils Tagine is so good and the Alfassia salad is a must. Falafel is also delicious and to top it off you have to go for the vegan pancakes with golden syrup and vegan ice cream... Literally Amazing.

Al Fassia has long been a favourite restaurant of myself and my partner (both vegan). There is an expansive vegetarian menu which is mostly vegan with plans to provide more dessert options always a bonus! The team always provide great service and are very friendly and accommodating for vegan customers.

Quiet Sunday evening but still a good atmosphere with attentive service. We decided to have the set menu to try many dishes and wasn’t disappointed! Excellent assortment of starters (hot cold) and main courses with the lamb with apricot and prunes and the lemon...chicken both fantastic and full of flavour! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. View menu

we do not love far away and have visited a few times in the last 20 years. always authentic, tasteful, well cooked dishes (recommend their tagines). much to choose and excellent fast service. but if they choose the Moroccan bakery for dessert, they are not. baklava, but cookies. I prefer the pancakes. the only thing is that it no longer has the Moroccan ambiente that it used to have for years. there are soft furniture in the ground floor, no later or soft lighting or music. it can be a bit loud when full as it is small. but with the bright ceiling lights and basic equipment it could be a caffe anywhere. it has a carved screen along the back wall and tee lights on the tables but no other Moro...

I've been here more often than I imagined it and it's never disappointed. most unforgettable was an occasion when we were next to a table of twenty or so eton old boys who were entertained by a Moroccan dancer in blue sequins and not much other (she turned out to be hounslow, not marrakech.) the etonians were like frog in a jam. Oh, yeah, eat. Your best bet is to go with someone else, order a tajine, one with cousin, one with rice. Both grains are simply cooked, but are quite delicious. I usually go for the lens tajine and my tip is that, while Moroccan beer is not bad at all, I would avoid the wein. when I was vegetarian, I loved plucking them. Unfortunately, these are not suitable for vega...

"We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK . The mushroom sauce I had was so authentic just perfect. The sides of duck fat chips and cauliflower cheese are must try ! I never though that I'd love cauliflower but I'm already a fan after trying WG's special side of cauliflower cheese. Generous portions and such lovely staff ! They made us feel welcomed always with smile on their faces and very knowledgeable and chatty as well. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and it had real good vibe .The play list was such a nice addition to our experience , such good mix of all types of music. We were sat at the table close to the bar, and we've noticed that the whole place is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. This place is a true gem honestly , and I'm not surprised now that they have so many stars reviews ! We will definitely come back when visiting Windsor again ! My sincere compliments to the chefs as well ! We've learned that the owner of the restaurant is the Chef at the kitchen so what a delight , when so much attention to details is payed to food ! You created a food momento that we will not forget ."
