"the restaurant is located in a small village, on a hill overlooking a valley and with views of the hill and has a huge covered terrace. the reception was warm, the owner speaks fluent English and is extremely hospitable, and eating is fantastic. the wine list is full of interesting decisions. the tagliatelle were the best I ever had (pasta is made house), that was a list of seasonal white truffle dishes. the pheasant ragu was delicious, lavarello with butter and sage was perfect. for dessert we had caramelized fresh figs with ice ants contucci with vin santo. a wonderful meal. in the kitchen are the daughter and mother of the owner who came to say hello and check on our luck. a beautiful meal."

This time I had a spectacular Porcini mushroom salad, then I strongly suggest asking for mushrooms that are always very good here. Try to climb the hill and get to the places you will not be disappointed.
