Essen und Trinken prima. Hier kann man unaufgeregt Zeit verbringen. Betreuung war sehr zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

Wir waren hier abends essen und haben bei sehr leckeren lokalen Weinen eine ausreichende Portion Bratkartoffeln verspeist. Preise waren in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich und auf Zack.

We had a lovely meal despite having arrived a little late, which wasn't a problem. Friendly service, nice traditional black forest atmospheredecor, tasty beer and good quality food. Honest prices and quick service. Exactly what we were looking for! I will definitely come again

Found the restaurant on Google Earth as had stopped nearby. Food was as good as the pictures. Quick service. One man who seemed to be the owner served everyone and ran the bar. He was very welcoming and friendly. Had three courses. All were extremely...tasty and came in good time. Would definitely go again, tomorrow, if they weren’t closed. Try it

Excellent place to eat. We ate outside in the sun, and the food was marvelous. Friendly table service with very nice wine too. Quality good, whilst the prices reasonable. All in all a very pleasant experience on two evenings, and in general, the overall ambience...of the locality amazing. Nice walks, great Black Forest Gateau, and excellent wine to be bought

Het was er gezellig en de Flammkuchen was smakelijk. De wachttijden waren echter onbehoorlijk lang. Er was maar één serveerster! Dat was echt te weinig. Ze deed goed haar best, bleef vriendelijk, maar ze redde het niet. Klanten werden ongeduldig. Volle zaak. Ik had erg met haar te doen, maar het was niet zoals het hoort in een restaurant. Oh trouwens: kaassoep was super! Aanrader!

The Saschwalle is my favorite place in Sasbachwalden. A small, cozy restaurant with beautiful wooden tables and lamps at any table, but not cheesy. The host is very friendly. The menu is filled with Swiss specialties. I like the cheese fondue for two with baguette, vinegar and silver onions. Flamecake and cheese cookies also taste good. And a glass of wine from the Alde God belongs to it. Very cozy. On weekends you should book better if you are more than two people. The place is limited : .
