"We only went here as the weather was bad and it was the nearest restaurant to our hotel. When we first walked up we worried it was a bit posh and possibly expensive. Once we got inside although it was really nicely done out it...had a cosy atmosphere and was quite busy. The staff were really friendly. I am a vegetarian and there were a few meals to choose from. And the passion fruit lemonade was really nice. The desserts looked great but we were too full. Lots of customers were drinking cocktails which looked nice also."

The staff were friendly and the location was good. The breakfast was delicious, there were so many choices. I was surprised to see chicken schnitzel, which was tasty. There was also this sparking water watermelon type drink that I particularly enjoyed.

eating was good and the atmosphere was very cool and relaxed. the staff was very friendly and professional. there were not many vegan options, but there were some and they had soy milk and milk that did not cost extra. it was also quite cheap and the portion size was good!

I had one night in Düsseldorf for a work trip. Found this restaurant on a whim. Fabulous goulash and wonderful baked cheese. Lovely glass of German merlot. All fair prices in a comfortable, casual, but special event kind of restaurant. And deeply appreciated the English...language menu.

we love alex (no matter where we go in Germany) as they know exactly what they expect with clean and modern environment, really good eating to resonable trips and efficient and friendly service. this place lived up to our expectations to all fronts, on this...Occcasion we had only drinks, but many other people were eating and the whole place was busy talking for themselves recommended.

Staff not that friendly .Thought we would have scrambled egg on toast .we dont do toast .hmmm what we thought was going to be reasonable worked ot to be quite expensive .we had very little to eat although you could go around as many times...as you like .very little choice and we are not picky eaters .... .The only thing i can say is the clientelle must have money to burn 2018 s version of yesteryears yuppies .del boy would be proud .

would have preferred the menu ala carte, but if they arrive on Sunday, they only offer the all-inclusive buffet. came without reservation, but sat since we arrived early. everything was delicious. instead of being on a table, most offers were on the bar whose...height was a bit high for my wife. the price I remember was 15 euro per person. beautiful environment, pleasant staff, clean toilets. If they are looking for a huge meal on Sunday, they will go after him!
