"A Michelin star is the ultimate hallmark of culinary excellence. Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants judged to be of a particularly high standard... while the food at this restaurant is very good, we have to express our discontent with the service. My husband ordered a bottle of wine during our meal. The bottle was brought opened to the table, we tried the wine and the smell was off. We requested another bottle and made a respectful observation to the waitress who laughed when we indicated that the wine was not good. Also, another individual of the restaurant indicated that the reason as why the wine was not opened at the table was for non sporcare il tavolo , not to get the table dirty???. In summary, not worth the price more than 55 Eur per person if you are looking for a real Michelin quality restaurant."

"return dinner from the transiberian; located in the center of sulmona. kitchen with simple, good dishes, but not memorable: maccheroncini with sausage, mushrooms and truffle sauce, good roasts, chicken cut and very good roast potatoes, grilled sausage. we conclude with lemon ice cream, pistachio truffle and crispy semi-freddo. the right prices for the food offered, quick service, but improveable regarding the reception, an extra smile would not spoil."

"Weekend a Sulmona allietato dalla cucina di Don Ciccio. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione, euro in due persone, molto conveniente, comprendente l'antipasto Don Ciccio, un primo, acqua a volontà, vino, amaro, caffè e coperto (considerate che il solo antipasto, alla carta, costa euro). Come primo c'erano gli gnocchi al ragù di pecora. Tutto ottimo, servizio veloce, cucina a vista e assoluto rispetto delle norme anti Covid (anche lo chef ha costantemente indossato la mascherina in cucina). Unico appunto, ma dettato esclusivamente dal mio personale gusto: l'antipasto si è perso alla fine, quando è stato servito uno stinco di maiale che nulla ha a che fare con il territorio, considerando che si trattava di un prodotto precotto, e, soprattutto, stona perché a seguire si sarebbe gustato il primo. Comunque assolutamente da consigliare"

"On a day of walking we stop for lunch in this restaurant. Very nice place, friendly staff and helpful. Appetizer mortadella delicious craft and balls cheese and ovo with tomato sauce the best I've ever eaten. A first with cream of broccoli and cheek very tasty and balanced taste. Meatballs with white wine onions and bread granella processed in a way that made it pleasantly crisp. The owner recommends a glass of Montepulciano di Abruzzo really great. Sweet pastry cream with witch and black cherry. All very good and well served. Right price."

"Suggestiva posizione, all'esterno, ad angolo su Piazza Garibaldi, sotto la bella facciata della Chiesa di San Filippo e al piano terra di un palazzo nobiliare. Buono l'antipasto di sostanziosi gnocchi fritti, con ripieno di formaggio e sopra prosciutto. Pizze nella media: buono l'impasto croccante, non azzeccato il condimento della mia pizza, pomodori secchi che hanno reso la pizza troppo salata. Cheese Cake troppo compatta, forse troppo cheese anch'essa molto sostanziosa. Buono il servizio e prezzi corretti."
