"We were taken to this family run restaurant in Sulmona in Province of Abruzzo, Italy. What a delicious lunch. We all chose Spaghetti alla Gitarra with Ragu sauce (a tomatoe and meat based sauce). How delicious! I chose Baccala (a fish dish which is often...dried fish reconstitued) in Bianco, a white herb sauce. The other 2 diners chose Roasted Lamb which they reported was tender. This was accompanied with small roast potatoes and a salad. To finish coffees all around. What a delicious lunch. So much so we revisited for lunch 2 days later."

we came here with a big group to dinner. the various meal times were average. the biggest disappointment was the service. our waiter was not much of the night and let us wait for bill until he finished his espresso.

beautiful evening spent in group with children on a Saturday evening, in full winter season. full but spacious room, with atmosphere from typical 80s trattoria. simple but greedy food, fast service and low cost. to return!

Stop for a little lunch it became a seven course meal appetizers huge and tasty antipasti a meal in its self veal tender chicken flavorful and moist fish great service top notch waitress helpful and friendly wine choice good and prices fair no room for...dessert but looked fabulous

beautiful unlauterer wee place right at the main square. festival was on, but restaurant had no more personal on, so the waitress and waitress fought to serve everyone. eating was good to share the antipasto selection was huge and delicious (first time. I have eaten garlic stalks) and my wife loved her lamming.

my wife and I recently had a wonderful meal at casual, family-run ll canestro. the lamb was the best we had in a week in abruzzo and the fresh artichoke pasta melted in the mouth. the only negatiw was her house wine. not as good as others we had on our trip. we recommend choosing a bottle of wine with an excellent dinner.

with a group of 5 friends we had lunch on the fly in this restaurant taking a focaccia stuffed to divide... a first to head and a contour of vegetables always to divide. the focaccia was very simple but good and the first also were all excellent (la lasagna was slightly cold.) to drink two bottles of water and half liter of unused wine. total 70€ in 5. discreet price. I recommend it... they have a very wide menu with different typical dishes.
