"We strolled in, no reservation and got to sit at the bar. The staff (includes husband and wife) are friendly, knowledgeable and will talk English with you if you prefer:-)We had great tapas, today's special and Flammekuche with wine. The place is very small, only 7 tables inside, but is a must visit in Rugen. Wine selection is LARGE, food is excellent, and staff is super friendly. Prices are reasonable. We liked it so much we came back three times in five days:-) They don't really have enough different choices in food to support three days in a row, but their quality, friendly attitude, and wine selection does. Highly recommended."

"We come to Baabe at least twice a year and always make reservations at Del Mare well in advance. The food is delicious and the female service is very friendly. On our last visit, some tables had a greeting from the kitchen, others didn't. The starter variation was always beautifully presented not this time. The salami shown on the menu was completely missing. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. Today we ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. Everything was finished on time. When I wanted to pre order a table, the waiter first went to the order book, then asked me to call with a “nudge” towards the door. I like the restaurant, but the service has definitely gone down considerably. It's a shame, because the taste is still good. I hope they just weren't such good days."

"5 stars, more must not be written here... A warm welcome for every guest is obviously the basic law in the tennis club. The menu is an absolute eyewitness from the design. And the food looks really good and how it tastes: really good. This fine restaurant of the operator of the resort Odins Blick has recommended us. And I recommend the tennis club in Göhren, if you're nearby!"

"Wir folgten der Empfehlung einer Einheimischen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Speisekarte enthält das, was die Besitzer des Restaurants in den Gewässern um und auf Rügen fangen. Die Gerichte sind einfach und lecker. Das kleine Restaurant ist urig und einfach eingerichtet. Wer hier ißt, legt Wert auf ein autentisches Ambiente. Die Qualität der Speisen steht im Vordergrund. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam."

"The location is fantastic. Just such a shame that the service does not hold the same standard. At the start of the meal things went well, but it ended up being very difficult to get the waitor’s attention. The food was good, but nothing spectacular....The tuna steak was well cooked, but lacked seasoning and when I wanted to ask for saltpepper our waiter was nowhere to be found. The chicken was OK. The desserts were a dissappointment for my husband and daughter the cheesecake was baked and dry, and the tart my daughter had was too sweet and the cream tasted a bit artificial. I opted for icecream which was very good they had a lot of flavours and toppings you could choose from"
