"Every morning my wife and I would wake up and walk from our hotel to Anker Backeri for a coffee and fresh pastry. The pastries were fresh and the service excellent. There are only a couple of tables inside and outside as this is mainly...a take out bakery. When we finished we walked back to the hotel to wake up our 3 kids and get them ready for a walk back to the Anker Backeri. Perfect location to our hotel and it was better than paying 19.00 Euro each for breakfast at the hotel. Our kids could never eat so much for breakfast so Anker was the place for us."

We tried this bakery the last day in Vienna, and found they had a croissant with a delicious sausage in it, which I'd been wanting to try, was not disappointed except that I wished we had found them sooner. Coffees were good here too!

When we arrived at Austria at 10 a.m., we met my man and we had breakfast in the main bonfire station in anker, as it was fast and needed to refuel. I had this refreshing coffee and amazing croissant with ham cheese and of course I cannot miss tasting the pink baked cake with alcohol. it also had a small snowman for christmas. I love it! it was a nice start and a beautiful snow-covered morning.
