"I love this place ! It's not only about the food. The food is delicious, really prepared with love. The ingredients are good and fresh and the food is healthy. The combination african/italian totally wins the first prize. As an Italian, food is really very important for me, but there is so much more... The atmosphere, the air you breathe in this place is something that cannot be described. It's like being on holiday, you have that feeling of being relaxed and surrounded by friendly happy people and you don't think of anything else. I fell in love with this place the very first time I went there and, since then, I cannot help going there regularly. There is only one flaw: it is too far from my home :-)"

We were today there, looking for a breakfast-lunch which would not be the usual German breakfast. Ataya Cafe was just excellent - the food was extremely good! -recommended for everyone.

We traveled berlin for a week and were lucky enough to stay at walking distance from Atayacaffe, so we ended up eating and drinking here every day. service is warm and loving and the food is perfect.

I missed the opening hours for this cafe a couple of times (they close by 7pm) but finally made it for a healthy smoothy they were a friendly couple with a cute daughter made you feel at home rather than a cafe. View menu

Came with a colleague of mine who lives around. The interior was very cozy and felt like sitting inside a home. Ate the Hummus Bigel which was great. the Bigel was very tasty and fresh... For dessert we took the Vegan-Shokolade-Mousse which one of the best Chocolate Mousses I've eaten :) Don't miss..

Atayacaffe is not only a cafe as many might think, Atayacaffe is a family project that after many years became real in Prenzlauerberg, Berlin. The food is amazing, fresh, real food prepared with much love, love that you can taste from the first bite. I can only reccomend this place, splendid meal in a beautiful and cozy ambience, with african-jazz music and Betta and Bachir, as wonderful hosts speaking many languages, will make you fell at home.

Ataya has become one of our favourite veg places in Berlin. Elisabetta and Bachir, the wonderful owners of this unique Italian-Senegalese Café, just know how to spoil their guests with the most delicious homemade food. The cozy atmosphere makes you feel as if you're visiting friends at home and not just dropping in at a café. I love taking my familiy and friends there (comfy couches and a kiddie play corner!), but also going there just by myself to work (W-LAN & little niches to hide away and get stuff done while sipping on good Italian coffee and munching away on some of their scrumptious sweet treats!).Too good to miss!
