"Since the long closure of cafes and restaurants in Brussels due to Covid-19 many things have changed in our familiar places, and not always for the better: experienced and familiar staff members have not returned, menus have changed, opening hours have been reduced, prices seem to have gone up, tables have been moved outside, even along busy streets while inside, staff play deafening disco beats, hip hop or Spanish camping music. Returning to Au Délice after a year for a dinner on my own I was very disappointing to find out that my favourite dish, spicy prawns served on a sizzler plate with soybean sprouts, didn’t exist anymore. Although its name, ‘scampis grillés à la citronelle’, hadn’t changed. It was a question of staff, I was told. Now the grilled prawns are served directly on top of the rice noodles. As they are not completely shelled this is rather impractical because you have to fish them out before eating. The prawns also get cold quickly. There were no soybean sprouts and there seemed to be less prawns. But the price hasn’t changed. Because of the extensive and lengthy works on the tram line along Avenue Brugmann reaching the restaurant by public transport has also become a hassle. So, Au Délice is no longer on our hit list."

Order to take away, everything was fresh and very good, prices are reasonable, very nice reception and preparation of very fast dishes. I recommend this little restaurant, worth the detour

Super Vietnamese and Asian restaurant! The kitchen is tasty, the portions are generous. The boss and the staff are doing their job with heart. I've been there a long time, very good! I recommend

Excellent nems! Friendly owner. Everything is fresh and the Bun Bo Hue soup is a must try!!!! The menu is not expensive (especially for Uccle). I visited this restaurant several times and will definitely come back.

This restaurant gets even better. It was really packed today for lunch and it’s easy to understand why. The Hue soup was super tasty. Good choice of wines and beers. Inexpensive and friendly service. What’s not to like?

Asian restaurant with very good bill. Fresh and homemade product. It's a rather interesting formula. The boss is also very friendly and the place seems very clean. Place without pretention but where you eat well and in a pleasant setting. Ideal for a small lunch.

The dishes are delicious prepared with fresh and crunchy vegetables These are simple recipes, it gives the impression of eating back in the kitchen like home. The owners kept the accent of Vietnam and they are welcoming. The service is fast and the room has human size.

We have been visiting this Vietnamese regularly for several years now and have never been disappointed. The interior is basic but the tasty food, the friendly service and reasonable prices largely make up for the lack of charm. Over time we have tried a large number of dishes and they were all good. Our favourites are the grilled prawns ‘scampis grillés’ and the beef or chicken sizzlers. It might be difficult to find a parking spot nearby but Au Délice is very close to the bus ands tram stop Vanderkindere.

Small restaurant, especially busy at noon, and quieter in the evenings. The lunch (choice of 3 starters and 3 main courses) is definitely value for money. But also the menu is worth having a look. The Bun Bo Hue soup is the best I’ve tasted in Brussels. As far as the nems are concerned (I’ve ordered them dozens of times) they always came with salad, fresh mint and a dipping sauce and were perfectly fried. I don’t really understand the comment left below, unless the lady wanted to roll the nems in larger lettuce leafs, as they do in Vietnam.... and indeed, those you don’t find on the plate.
