"We've visited here once before a few years ago and if was so good we had to go there again, I even booked over the phone, which I've never done before for a different country. It's a very warm and welcoming place, decorated beautifully with mosaic tables, brass lamps and lots of ambience. They have an English translated menu, which is good for anyone who only knows a little French. The food is delicious with decent portion sizes, I had the chicken tagine with mixed peppers and my other half had the chicken tagine with caramelised lemon and olives. They have a great selection of drinks, including wine by the glass, half bottle and full bottle, soft drinks and a few beers. We had dessert, which I had the trio of oriental desserts, have to say are incredibly sweet and go well with their mint tea. Whilst he had what they call "bricks" which was layers of cream cheese, thin pastry, strawberries and raspberries. The staff are friendly and look like they enjoy working there, always smiling and having a giggle. This place can be hard to find as it's next door to a huge typical red French restaurant and the entrance has a lot of plants and fiery lights. So keep your eyes peeled as you're missing out."

france has maintained very good relations with the maroc, and many Moroccans have come to live in france, keeping their identity and culture.

Wonderful dinner, wonderful service, great ambience, terrific food. The couscous my wife and I had was absolutely delicious, as were the starters - the eggplants with the incredible bread and the pastries.Superb mint tea for dessert, along with their cream and strawberry pastry.Highly recommended! I was so entranced by the tented ceilings, tiled table tops, Moroccan lamps and lanterns, and more, that the meal itself is overshadowed in my memory. I do remember that it was a pleasant (although not spectacular) chicken dish with couscous. All ingredients were very fresh and the seasonings were tasty.

This is a local place which serves Moroccan classics like couscous and tagines. Lunch is quite busy, with most people from neighboring businesses eating couscous. Make sure you come before 12:30, to avoid rush hour on week days. Good price / quality ratio. Note that the restaurant recently changed its name to "Mosaic Sud".

The room is small, cozy and decorated with typical moroccan tiles and furniture. The food is all home-made and served in huge, delicious doses. We tried a tajine and a couscous and it was the best we'd ever tasted. Vegetarian special dishes available on demand. Do recommend to anyone who likes northern-african flavours. Very nice waiters too. View menu

Easy to find to but certainly off the tourist beaten path Au P'tit Cahoua serves up some of the finest Moroccan food you're ever going to find in Paris. Tagine or Couscous, whatever you opt for it will be incredibly satisfying -- and don't forget to wash it down with a cool, crisp Rose from Mortocco! Oh, and be prepared for large portions. At €53 with wine this was one of the better values we found in Paris as well.

If you are near Denfert, and you like a good tagine (and I do) then this is the sort of place for you!A few of us went here recently after work - not for the first time, nor will be the last time!. As usual, the lamb tagine with prunes was excellent, as was the chicken tagine with sweet potato, both served piping hot, and with a plentiful supply of couscous and also bread for dipping and mopping up the lovely sauces!Deserts were again also first-class, especially the house special '3-pastry' delight, which was served with a little fruit and ice-cream. We finished our meal with some mint tea, which, to be honest, was actually just a tad sweet for my liking - personally, I would have preferred...
