"l’auberge de port vallieres offers elegant yet casual fine eating and validated my guess that fondette’s influential commuter suburb of tours was. (instead of the historical Loire villages below we ate here on both Saturday evenings of our holiday, and both paint. every table was filled with wealthy locals who relax after busy weeks in large offices. the building may have been a building or a castle; in these days there are two large, inconspicuous rooms decorated with an appealing series of modern art and sculpture. between the atmosphere and the friendly staff it feels more like a restaurant in a house of a human than a restaurant. it also holds an assault michelin, a new evaluation of the guides introduced last year to name good food just this description seems that a level below the bib gourmand that was the certification just below the star level ... but l’auberges aromen and presentation were far over easy. eating is resolute classic: foie gras, delicate fish dishes, rich meat, sauces as deep as a black hole, extensive cheese car, artistic bakery. we tried to visit the cooking menu at the first and were shocked to be served instead of the usual small tellers of many meals full-fledged portions. at the end of five, plus amuse bouche and typical awesome French brote, we were unhappy full. the next visit we went back to three courses with full satisfaction. also the auberge has fortunately denied an impression that we had developed on previous travels that the French did not really fit to make weeping flights that were standard according to the pile standards, instead of thinking carefully about games. the flight here carefully selected glasses to complement each cure. none of the quirky, charming surprises English sommeliers often slip in. all French, although many of beyond the loire. but everyone nicely matched with the court. the main course at our first visit proved to be the point of adaptation: the calves and their sauce was so overly rich, with a light mineral undertone, which is absolutely necessary to complete the sharp bite of the Pinot noir. only after we had come home, and back to wifi, I could see the translation of ris de veau and realized that I had only eaten sweets. this is the beauty of a tasting menu in a foreign language. would never have ordered it alone. probably no longer order. but in this night, with this wee, it was delicious."

As lunch bars in Osborne Park go this one is a good egg and believe me some of them are eggs of salmonella standards.

lunch after tours. not somewhere for a fast snack. eating here is serious, absolutely delicious and beautifully served. very welcome and interesting menu. we didn't want a full meal; no problem. starter and pud from the a la carte. it was not cheap, for adult and a child with a glass of wine. we are going back to have a proper meal

The location is a little off the beaten track, but we were staying in a b&b nearby and this was recommended. A wonderful find. Excellent value for money superb, imaginative dishes, freshly prepared and served with flair and style by the welcoming manageress/owner, ably supported...by her young but well-trained and attentive staff. We had a corner table with lovely views of the forests beyond. The rest of the clientele were apparently local the place clearly has a good reputation. Would certainly make a point of detouring there in the future.

probably a good place for a business lunch, as tables are well spacious, and it is quiet and quiet. menus of too good service, not in sight despite location on the away of the loire. we have chosen the menu (no choice) with my colleague...for a entrée of poached ei and cepes, followed by entenbein and pomme de terre dauphinoise; i the duck, and a dessert of poire belle hélène. my colleague was dissatisfied with the main course I found sufficient. the dessert was pretty good. total including glass wein and coffee, about right. park opposite, on a muddy road, probably not for winter weather, and a risky walk over a busy road, are disadvantages. upsides are quiet location and good service. auberge de Port-Vallieres is a small restaurant on the roadside on the way to tours, but well before reaching the city. there is no parking space, but there is a large free parking right above the road. the greeting is very friendly and the eating excellent cooked, prepared and served. the wee was just neat, but also quite expensive usually. it seemed to be a large number of service personnel for a device of this size. we have chosen the formula for which there was no choice; fortunately, this was quite satisfactory, as my nutrition is somewhat limited for medical reasons. a formula without choice means in the really very good price-performance ratio, but this was not the case, the cost are...

This restaurant was recommended by diners at another restaurant so we decided to try it. I would rate this restaurant as good as it was neither average nor very good. The food was nice but was overpriced. We had the euros menu courses)....However, because we chose the lobster salad we paid an extra euros per person (just for some mixed leaves and pieces of lobster). The main course was the best. The sauce made of Chinon with the beef was excellent and so was the fish with girolles mushrooms. Their house aperitif was very good. We had the apricot dessert which was quite disappointing. The dining room was clean and nicely decorated but the view from the window was lacking. We love our food and...
