"We had Sunday lunch here, tempted by “une restauration simple, de produits frais de producteurs locaux de préférence, à un prix raisonnable”. Although I wouldn’t argue with the reasonable price or the origin and freshness of the products, they were cooked to death and the presentation was worthy of a school dinner. The dining room is fairly attractive, but the windows are above eye level, everything was nice and clean including the loos which have wheelchair access.I had “Melon à l’italienne” to start with, which sounded promising but was chunks of melon covered with a couple of slices of jambon de pays, and my husband had the homemade pâté with walnuts which was good, and he was able to help himself to pickles. For the main course, I had the salmon in a sauce bourride which came with a pile of very brown ratatouille and although it tasted OK, it looked awful and the salmon was somewhat overcooked. My husband had the confit de canard with homemade chips. The chips were fine but the duck was dry and salty and we noticed that the French family at the next table left most of theirs. We chose the nougat glacé with a strawberry coulis for dessert, but the ice cream was melting and the coulis turned out to be a spoonful of strawberry jam.With two coffees, a small bottle of Perrier, a beer and a small carafe of white wine, the bill came to just over 46 euros.I should add that I phoned to book on the Thursday and left a message. Since I hadn’t heard, I phoned back 24 hours later, assuming they were probably closed, but the owner had received my message and noted the booking, but how were we supposed to know!!"

Nous avons apprécié un repas à l'heure du déjeuner aujourd'hui avec des amis. Le menu de la famille à 16 € était excellent. Si vous êtes près de Gourville, vous devriez essayer les trois canards.

Popped into Auberge des 3 Canards in Avenue Petit Mairat, 16170 Gourville on the off chance (well after the allotted time slot for lunch) & what a lovely surprise & not a bad price either! Whilst we were the only people in there, we were treated like royalty! Highly recommend! Le canard cuit parfaitement, purée de carottes, accompagnée de haricots verts & une belle sauce de soja, gingembre & miel!

j'ai eut le plaisirs de manger le midi dans se super restaurant au menu salade composer qui était fort délicieuse, escalope de saumon avec sa sauce au citron, riz et brocoli, les employés sont très agréable et gentils, et le patron est disponible pour nos questions. Même si se restaurant est situer dans un petit village je vous le recommande fortement, surtout pour les amateurs de grande nourriture. le menu complet coute 13 euros entrée, plat et dessert, mais si vous n'avez pas une grande faim ils vous proposent des sandwich très bons, il y a aussi le petit coin épicerie appréciable quand on oublie quelque chose.
