"We popped in here while walking around Paris because the menu sign was outside and easy to read. Plus the owner, who seemed southern European and not as snotty as an average Parisian, waved us in and sat us down. Unlike other waiters in the area, he did not make us struggle with the arcane menu and recommended the Brochite Poulet for my wife; the Tajine Veau pour moi. We were not disappointed. I say this is good for business lunches because we saw lots of coat & tie types gathered at tables no doubt talking about grave business matters. I rate this spot excellent based on expectation. This does not pretend to be a high class fancy restaurant, and every aspect of our lunch was agreeable: Service, food, cost (52 euros total, not bad), atmosphere and even the clean rest room. And they did not hover over us when we were finished trying to gather up dishes and free up the table. So we stayed and had some extra beer and wine."

Small restaurant with tasty food for reasonable prices for the area. Friendly owner. Went there twice and were happy with the service.

Completely unpretentious. Small menu including tagine as mentioned by other reviewers. Good quality food, well presented, lovely atmosphere and good music. Recommended.

Small cafe on a side street off St Augustine Sq. We had the lamb and the beef. Great tasting meal, fabulous service and a good value. Beers, dessert, entrées and tip, 70 euro for two. View menu

Our tour did dinner for 22 so maybe it was not the best test of this establishment. Our guide said the food had Moroccan roots but it seemed just Bistro French. The wine was reasonably priced.

I was there with a colleague during a business trip. Menu has few choices but all of good quality. Prices are fair, and, expecially compared to bigger establishments nearby, convenient. Owner is helpful and friendly, will certainly return.

Found this place by mistake but what a lucky find. I went at happy hour so a pint of beer was half the usual price elsewhere. I had the goats cheese parcels and a big cheese burger and both were very tasty. The owner was very friendly and the place had a great chilled atmosphere. View menu

The food here was OK, almost everyone in our party got some version of lamb, whether it was cooked French style or with couscous. The preparation of the food was excellent, the lamb itself so-so, it tasted a bit more mutton to me. The prices were great and the wait staff was attentive.

The waiter (possible the owner) very impulsive and unadeqate person. We were 10 people with kids. There is no menu on the paper. List of dishes given on the board. Music is noisy and bad quality. It is very dark inside. 2 of us decided to leave the place because of that. The waiter started to cry and became crazy. I do not understand why this place has good rating. Maybe food is OK, but the waiter did not give any chance to try it. He did not serve us because our friends left the place. I do think that is good service.
