"We stayed in a wonderful Airbnb la Roncate just 50 metres down a small lane off the piazza and overlooking Cernobbia and Lake Como. The pure isolation of this bar and its prospect of encountering local residents drew us to enter the front door. With very little clue as to what lay behind the door other than the sign Bar Azurra we entered the world of the locals in Rovanno on a Friday night. The bar does not appeared to have changed in 50 years with 3 men drinking their Spritz or Campari at the bar, helping themselves to the olives, prosciutto and bread on offer. Gradually local families filtered in to enjoy their usual wood fired pizza. With only 6-8 tables we took our turn to dine. We were not dissapointed as we enjoyed a truly local experience of local wine, beer and supurb pizza cooked in a woof fired oven. The small piazza revealed another wonder the next morning with the tiniest grocery shop with fresh bread, cheese, meats and other essential items to make our Airbnb accommodation something to remember."

thanks to a tip of our hotel villa amana, we have come to know of the store. Actually, the plan was to take an aperitif and then go to one of the restaurants in the area. the simple place was so inviting, the service so friendly and snacks for the aperitif so good that we stayed immediately. and we were rewarded! the best pici cacio and pepper of our life! Good and go on like this!

believing to go and get some pumpkin specialties for the rovenna festival, we walked Cernobbio-Rovenna. arrival at destination, the bitter surprise that the sagra pumpkin was suspended for a few years. so hungry, the only chance was to have lunch at the blue bar. despite that on our arrival the restaurant was crowded, we were greeted with kindness, friendliness. The owner found us a place. lace and tartar were very good. We were very well, thank you.

a nice bar with restaurant poisoning, high prices as almost everywhere in these provinces of como, varese, verbania. We took a mixed cutter that was very small and spartan paid well that it was not worth it for nothing, two noodles to the porcinis at one) , discreet, not abundant and too full of cream, and a bottle of water, total account with discount. friendly staff, very nice village location. I would personally avoid returning to the unfavorable price-quality ratio.
