It was not good in all cases: food, environment and also staff's behavior. I'm so sorry for them because they have a lot of problems for money.

The food wasn't good at all. Ordered some salad with the kebab, it looked disgusting, and they charged me 3.80€ for the salad alone. The only thing good about this place, was that the waiter was polite, but she didn't speak English.

We walked by this restaurant by accident. It doesn't have necessarily the best setting but it serves delicious Persian food and I'm to know as I am one. The server was very friendly and can't recommend this place enough. Also very reasonable prices unlike the Persian restaurants in So. Cal.

Das war klasse! Wir haben soeben eine leckere Speise von Baccara verzehrt (Soltani). Ich für meinen Teil war am Anfang ein bisschen kritisch...das allerdings zu unrecht. Der Hackfleisch-Spieß und das Lammfleisch waren wirklich super! Dazu gab es ganz viel Brot mit folgenden Zutaten: frische Petersilie, frische Minze, Zwiebeln, Butter und Gewürze. Everything about this restaurant except the people is horrible. The restaurant is small, not very clean, and the furnishings are old, uncomfortable and packed into such a small place it is difficult to move without disturbing other guests. It felt as if I was a stranger inside someone else's house while they were having dinner and I was intruding. The food was terrible, and without flavor. Meat was overcooked and of low quality. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that the people were friendly. There are too many good restaurants in Hamburg for you to visit and enjoy. Don't waste your time or money at Baccara.

Visited with my Persian/Turkish relatives, who live in Hamburg. I was the only one to order boneless chicken kebab.Not only did the food take ages to arrive but when it did it was disgusting, pink inside and made me feel sick.....when we complained waitress was apologetic but we still were told that we had to pay for it......They, in my opinion, should have wavered the cost of my meal, as it was their fault that it wasn't cooked, but they refused.To serve uncooked chicken is very dangerous and, in extreme cases, can lead to salmonella poisoning...There are many other restaurants in Hamburg that serve wonderful food so I suggest you avoid this poor and disgusting restaurant.

Ich habe bereits 2mal bei Baccara bestellt. Als gebürtige Perserin muss ich sagen, dass das Essen einfach schlecht war. Die Kebabs waren nicht richtig durch gegrillt und Öl tropfte von überall herunter! Auch das Joghurt Mast-Musir war einfach widerlich, das Joghurt selbst hat nach sauere Milch geschmeckt, das Knoblauchpulver war kein Pulver, sondern getrocknete Knoblauch Stücke und Rostzwiebeln, ich hab es sofort in den Müll geschmissen. Reine Abzocke! Die verlangen erstmal viel Geld für ein Essen was jeder zubereiten kann und dann ist es nicht mal genießbar!
