We stopped here by chance on a motorbike trip back to UK. What luck, I know the weather and the scenery were stunning, but we were greeted with such a warm welcome we hoped we were in for a good lunch, we were not disappointed at all in fact it was great, sitting on the terrace eating truly tasty Swiss cuisine we felt we were in heaven.

Went on 18 june, around late afternoon. Chef/Owner was not very friendly. He looks and sounds exhausted, didn't give a welcoming face or anything. He just sounds annoyed. Portion wise is pretty small for the price. Not sure whether its just me but the food is a bit too salty for my liking. Can give it a miss actually. There's definitely better food elsewhere. Also do note that the menu is not in english.

We found this place by chance while driving back to Thun after a 20km hike in the area. We were lucky the kitchen was open at 17:00 p.m and we had no expectations, we just wanted to eat. But the food was really good, we took the beef fillet which was lightly roasted and came with the pan and some flavored Krauter butter which allowed us to cook it as we liked it. The owners were very friendly. We‘ll stop here again!
