"This lovely restaurant is very new and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. We stumbled across it and how glad we did. The decor was beautiful no expense spared it was truly beautiful in its style. We had asked for a wine to match what we would normally drink( burgundy) and we were advised to try an Italian white with this in mind. It was a very good choice and now will look to get this in other restaurants. The staff are very attentive but not too fussy. We both chose pasta. Mine was probably one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. Pumpkin , sage and butter. Very simple but excellently presented and delicious. My husband had the lamb ragu parpadelle with pine nuts which he said was divine. Overall with water and service our bill was just over £60. Very reasonable for this type of food and service. We were really impressed with banca and next time in London we will be going there for a long lunch or an evening meal without a doubt. Good luck for your future banca you have all the right ingredients for success."

We visited this restaurant mid-afternoon and chose from the excellent ‘late’ menu. It was a good experience in every way; food, service, quality and ambience. The restaurant is well located and is spacious and bright. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. This is an easy restaurant to recommend.

I had dinner at the bar here several nights ago, as I was dining by myself. The manager was incredibly friendly. I had the pumpkin pasta in a beure blanc sauce with sage, which was delicious. Portions are reasonable, but not huge. Sitting at the bar was a nice bonus. In the evenings, they provide complimentary (heavy) snacks while you drink or wait for your meal. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Went there with my other half for dinner..Having been to many Italian restaurants in London,I would say it is one of the worst,if not the worst .The food was awful, the presentation of food was terrible (had tiramisu as a desert and had the impression as if someone just threw it on the plate),the service was slow, had to wait for my bill for 20 min.At last ,the prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food and the service you get.Simply avoid! We went here based on TA reviews and were happy we did. As it was our last night in London after a month in Europe we wanted a special occasion restaurant and Banca is. The food was great from salumi to pasta to fish, meat and desserts. The wine list is expansive (particularly Italian) and expensive. The sommelier was very helpful. Having dined at other top Italian restaurants in London I would rate Banca above them all. I wish we had a Banca in Sydney.

We were 5 persons and every one ordered a different entree, main course and desert. We looked every time at our plates and all were empty. Well the food is excellent, actually I had the spagettini with Lobster and made a remark to the manager that it was as good as the one I had a few months ago in Capri! The service very pleasant and attentive from beginning till the end. The best to come...the Owner was sitting at the bar watching...insisted on asking us graciously how was our lunch and if we had any comment. Well done Banca, I will certainly return with more friends.

We have had 2 meals at BANCA in North Audley Street in London during the last few weeks. Both were for Lunch and both were excellent. The service is very good with a very pleasant Staff and a professional approach. The menu covers all tastes and we enjoyed everything that we had ordered. We were so pleased after the first meal that we invited Friends for lunch on a busy week day. Although the restaurant was full and serving 100 covers everything went well and again food was excellent and service was spot on.Please try this new Italian Resturant which is very good and not over priced for London. A nice departure from a typical Italian restaurant in many ways, including that the staff at Banca are warm and welcoming. We had an excellent business dinner for 8 with a wide assortment of many courses. The food was uniformly excellent: fresh, unique and tasteful, with only one curious exception. The one person at our table who had a pasta dish reported that it was not cooked properly--a sin for an Italian restaurant of this quality. To its defense, our diner did not report the pasta error, so the restaurant had no opportunity to correct it. Banca's wine list is astounding, and the Sommelier was very helpful. We did not sample the desserts, but had an extensive cheese course that was subli...

I have now eaten at Banca three times, one business lunch and two dinners with friends. The setting is elegant and minimalist (very high end Milanese looking) and the service attentive but not obtrusive I hate being asked every five seconds if my meal is ok. The menu is essentially a Banca take on Cipriani (the vitello tonato and scallop carpaccio is excellent) with superb al dente pasta. On my last visit in December I had the tuna, which was perfectly pink, the veal and steak ordered by my friends looked mouth watering also. The wine list is good and not ridiculous, we had a sommelier recommended red and some champagne. The quality of Italian food in London is getting so good these days and...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
